Ernie,
I can highly recommend Luxury Coach in Rockwall, Brandon is in charge of all the Prevost work. Closer to you and also highly recommended is Trawick Coach in Fort Worth. Trawick is a PC sponsor. Kenneth is the lead Tech at Trawick. -
The resort that is the subject of this discussion has members / owners who themselves own coaches older than ten years of age. This issue, strangely enough must be a recurring issue for them and their owner association rules. They obviously have an exemption for owners.
There are many other great places…

If there is a next time I might want to go there I will ask them to send me pics of the resort to make sure they meet my standards.
I am partial to parks younger than 10 years old.
Hope they change the rule for you, it is a beautiful place and I love that area of Michigan.

I just put a Blue Ox tow bar on and used their wiring harness. It plugged into the existing harness without having to drill holes for new lights in the back.

The liberty guages lights are turned on by the “Dash Operator Panel” on the dashboard.
Under “Driving” Guage Lights”
Dick beat me by 1 minute.

If your coach is wired similar to my ’03 Marathon, a fuse may be blown on that under galley cabinet circuit. You should find a row of fuses in the electrical area located in the road side corner of the bedroom rear closet. Look for a fuse with a red led lit just underneath it.

Buddy: With eight 8D AGM batteries (I presume they are Lifelines) wouldn’t be more cost effective to just buy a different new to you coach than to change out the batteries?
Jon: I hadn’t thought about that. Thanks for enlightening me.
Peter: I have one of those special kind of awnings too. We’ve had the coach for almost three years and I’ve never opened the special kind of awning up … kinda afraid it would open and not close. If it does that at Jeff’s, I’m covered. But if it won’t close at a camp ground or the race track then I’m probably stuck getting out a ladder and a Sawzall. If I change it out with a manual awning, then I’ll probably have enough room for more batteries. Hadn’t thought about that. Kills two birds with stone … which is something we try to do in Wisconsin as often as possible. Very good post on your part. Very profound, it was more than enlightening for me.

If you say so Tom. I’ve never tested them in auto-level mode?
I do know that when I level the bus, left & right, in manual/campground mode, they are operational.
I’m still learning what everything is called.

As long as bottle jacks are not hydraulically extended, but are in the full down position, with the screw type center post extended to reach the support point you are 100% safe.
While hydraulically extending it to reach the support is better than nothing, it will not address a potential and sudden hydraulic failure. Supports need to be fail safe.

I can only speak for the way a Marathon is wired. Marathon told me there are two ways they retro wire a chassis charger. A cheap way and a more expensive way. The cheap way is with it plugged into the engine duplex outlet provided there to plug the engine heater into. That outlet is powered through a CB in the 120V panel.
The more expensive way is the way Marathon is now wiring their later model coaches with a relay on the ignition circuit which is the same way Vantare wires their chassis charger. If you are using a chassis charger that does not have diodes in the battery leads and it is plugged into that outlet, it may be a good idea to turn off the CB before starting the engine to prevent the alternator from backfeeding power through the leads and damaging the charger.

Excellent post and idea for those without an aux gauge.
