supported by them. Support for it stopped probabky 2 years ago. So it is not something that anyone should buy. I find it unfortunate because it would be nice to use the Rand McNally database running on an iPad.

I believe that Rand McNally stopped to support the app to stear people towards their “tablet”.

I have been using the 7 inch Rand McNally dedicated RV GPS for the past couple of years and it seems to be working well.

But, like any other RV dedicated GPS which allows you to plug in your length, width, height and weight – none of them are perfect.

I do not like the new CoPilot RV app because it does not allow you to input weights over 26,000 lbs. – This is not really surprising because CoPilot is an English / European app. There are no 45 feet Prevost RV conversions over there!

You can save yourself the $45 CoPilot wants to charge you for the RV version and go with the truck version, instead.

Our coach had about 72,000 miles on it when we bought. I was chasing the bus with the steering wheel all the time. Thought there was a problem with the steering box. Peter Campbell told me to get a three axle alignment at Prevost. We went to Prevost Jacksonville for it. Flat fee 2.5 years ago of $650. Tech checked tie rods first, they were loose so he replaced them. Then did alignment. Said drive axle was WAY out and fixed that with a tiny bend to the left to compensate for crown in the right lane of the interstate. Put new Koni shocks on the front, OEMs on the back. HUGE improvement in handling. Take it only to Prevost for the three-axle, laser alignment.

Just a quick note to say thank you for such great hospitality. Everyone we met were great. The meetings were informative and to say the least spot on.

The discussion on the air dryers for your air system was in perfect time and probably saved us hundreds. The dryer cartridge on our coach was original equipment and had over 52000 miles on it.

Bath and a half.

I was able to see that there is a littel “pan” with a dropped area connected to a drain hose. U stuck a wire up the drian hose to make sure it’s clear. I also noticed that those air lines USED to be silconed in there. The silicone is now broken out. I wonder if it was always meant to be a pan to catch drain water from something.

I will be going to prevost sometime in the near future to look at the rear slide roof – then I’ll ask them about this one too. Fingers crossed it isn’t TOO expensive! Though…. still less than a new bus.

Coburg should be able to provide the content of the owners manual which includes the construction overview showing where equipment and Techlink switches are throughout the coach. It also includes an overview of the AC electrical diagram including inverters, shore power and generator.

I have not seen the equivalent of the Prevost wiring diagrams showing wiring numbers etc. The Techlink network really requires hooking up a custom network analyzer to troubleshoot.

Dick, can’t say whether all should consider application of such a product but in our case the 20-year old roof is experiencing some oxidation and chalky streaks on the coach after a rain. So it needs fresh paint, and the Bus Kote product seems to offer more than ordinary paint. Linda

Depending on the State, the NE is the worst, those enforcement folks are pretty plentiful. Including the truck stops who are required to enforce the law on thier property. In the middle of Nebraska probably not an issue.
