Dan: According to what Geo Prentice told me a year or more ago, Hanna Trailer Sales in Oak Creek (which is just south of the Milwaukee Airport between Milwaukee and Racine) has a technician who has experience on CAs. As I recall, Geo said he worked for Burger Yachts in Manitowoc. All I know is that Geo mentioned him as a possible resource for CA issues versus a trip to Vonore. Keep in mind that sometimes the yachting/boat CA guys won’t work on the air to air CAs, only the water to air CAs. I would recommend reaching out to Geo first. Maybe Geo will comment on this.

Mark, if you bring what you drive in your day job, I will bring the red Chevy economy car assuming we each get plenty of left seat time.

I’m in Fort Lauderdale also. Agreed Value $475,000 @ $5,400 for full time through Safeco. It actually dropped $300 from National Interstate.

I checked with Explorer and a new policy for same terms through Progressive was over $9,000. Yikes! Marlene told me to keep my current policy.

I also looked at getting my insurance through my other home in New York but Explorer doesn’t write NY any longer because of too little business.

After all the above I found I still had a leak, not a big un but a leak…..turns out it’s that damn ISRI seat and it’s plastic fish line and fittings. This is number three for this in the last 5 years. Think it may be wise to go there first when hunting down minor leaks….

    Mikee & Buddy

you are correct, the door plunger switch does provide the contact. When I turned on my bay lights (passenger side panel) and went out to the bay. Open the door and my strip lights illuminate. I then pushed on the plunger switch and the strip lights turned off. Released the plunger and strip lights illuminated. The sunmullion switches did not illuminate.

At this time I cannot access the back of the motherboard. I have a joey bed. I cannot swing the card rack open without hitting the bed rails.

    I will try 2 things.

    1) see if my P1 & P2 harnesses are inverted. I’ll swap them.

    2) p1 & p2 have 10 pin harness and the board has 8 pins. I have the harness centered, I will move them over a pin.

if neither one works, i’ll Live with it until I can pull the joey.

Michael, I have no knowledge of how CC wired the coaches but you have done what I would consider the first step. What your testing appears to show is you have a short circuit in a section of the wiring common to all fans.

This is where things get cumbersome because you literally have to follow the wiring from the fuses back through to find the common point and then keep going backwards until you find where your wires are pinched or worn to the point where the hot side is coming in contact with the ground.

I remember a Royale owner with an intermittent problem that after years of trying to find it came across a screw securing flooring plywood to the chassis that was long enough to hit a wire bundle running along the sidewall in a wire chase. I hope your problem is easier to find.

Got it. Thanks Jeff and all. If I can get through West Palm without doing something stupid, it will be on the agenda for spring.

I would highly recommend a Rolair compressor which is made in Hustisford, WI. Reliable, dependable and well made.

Nice looking job and work around for that specialty valve.

Have you considered installing a brass Tee in your assembly somewhere after your check valve and installing a valve for venting? You could even use a radiator style petcock if bumping it open were a concern. Just a thought. Nice job.

Jon. “If you want to help the front get up faster, lift the tag” Can you expound on the how and why of this statement? I know how to lift the tag but how does doing so speed the lifting of the front. Also, could/should this procedure be used when leveling the coach?
