Webasto Interior Fans Keep Blowing Fuses
Hey Jeff and Buddy, I need some help.
THE PROBLEM – The Webasto fires up, but the interior heater fans do not come on.
ATTEMPTED SOLUTION – The three fans inside the bus, one for each zone (dash, galley, and bedroom) do not come on when the Webasto fires up. I traced the fans to Card #17 on the ECC. There are two 7.5 amp fuses. The top one keeps burning out when I replace it.
I disconnected each fan motor, one at a time, in the heat zones and would then replace the fuse. Each time the fuse burned out in a few seconds when I turned the Webasto back on. I finally disconnected all three fans, turned on the Webasto and the fuse burned out again.
I also replaced the thermostat and nothing changed. One other curious item is the Interior Heat Exchanger button over the Driver Seat will not turn off. It stays green and will not go to Amber.

Michael, I have no knowledge of how CC wired the coaches but you have done what I would consider the first step. What your testing appears to show is you have a short circuit in a section of the wiring common to all fans.
This is where things get cumbersome because you literally have to follow the wiring from the fuses back through to find the common point and then keep going backwards until you find where your wires are pinched or worn to the point where the hot side is coming in contact with the ground.
I remember a Royale owner with an intermittent problem that after years of trying to find it came across a screw securing flooring plywood to the chassis that was long enough to hit a wire bundle running along the sidewall in a wire chase. I hope your problem is easier to find.

The heat exchanger button not changing colors indicates a problem on the card its self.
Possibly a trace on the card burned into or a electrical component shorted out.

The three fuses should be one for each fan.
The circulation pumps in the engine bay and the webasto run off of the two little circuit breakers on the panel between the inverters in your battery bay.
