Hi Ron, I will give John a call and see what he thinks. I’ve seen some panels and controlers on line, including some where you can “add” panels as needed, but I just want to make sure that whatever the system I get, that it matches up with my bats and system.

Thanks for the info I appreciate it!

I tried to edit my own post and was told “that I was in an area” I was not allowed in, which co-incidentally is the story of my life. I was going to provide this link to the entire project if anyone would care to see it? It is on my webpage: http://boxcarokie.com/2011/06/01/entertainment-center-july-2011/

    Thanks,

So do you add liquid to the receiver tank while it is running or not running? I am not going to attempt this without an expert on hand, but just curious.

All great advice. I have already found how to straight wire the compressor so that will not be an issue. This coach has already been changed over to 134 so that will not be an issue either. Next thing is to check out the leaks.

    Thanks,

Hey Tom, I was going to report what I thought was a problem with the calendar going forward when you click on the right arrow. I backed out of calendar and started it again and it worked fine. I was going to delete the post but could not, so I just deleted the text.

Can you delete your own reply to a post ?

    Thanks

Thanks for the work you all do on the site and the new batteries are working great.

I can only tell you my experience. I have a 1991 Prevost LeMirage that was used as a casino runner in Las Vegas. It was never used as an OTR transport but it nonetheless had the typical white paint band down both sides and across the front and rear. Since I am converting it into a motorhome, I needed the paint stripped to repaint the bus. Several alternatives are available from chemical strippers to power washers. I chose to use a local contractor who used baking soda to strip the paint. His charge was $800 for 5 hours of work. Afterwords the bus had to washed 5 or 6 times to remove all the soda residue before the company would paint it. It was a very effective techique and did not harm the SS sides. My second choice was an enviromentally sensitive chemical stripper that could be applied by paint roller then use a power washer to remove the residue. The stripper is available online but the cost would have been considerably more, close to $2,000, than the soda stripping. However, it was something I could do myself. I am happy with what I did. YMMV.

    Tuga,

Did you ever think you would see the day! Slides, no rivets, standard fuel and a king size bed. I’m not sure we will even know him when he shows up next.

Pictures are resized automatically for all functions of the web site, whether uploading photos of a coach for sale, posting a photo or an avatar.

When I want to insert a photo in a thread, if it is in my pictures file I browse when the drop down box appears and then open it. If it is a URL, I have no clue how others do it, but I save the photo to my files, then browse and open it via the box. I use the exact same method to upload photos of coaches for sale.

There are a LOT of motorcycles at TGO. But there are also a lot of restrictions. As Tom mentioned, a long time ago there was some problem during bike week that caused an up roar among the owners here. That happened way before my arrival here, so I do not have all the facts to pass on.

The newest section that is open allows motorcylces to be used. All the older sections allow motorcyles to be in your garage but to ride them you have to move them by trailer to the “motorcylce staging area” or what they call the industrial area, then you can ride it out the park. Most owners have a little trailer to use behind their golf cart that pulls the bike with the front wheel off the ground. Now it is much more complicated then it sounds. Things like Bergman 650 scooter, (step thru frames) are allowed.

If you show up at the gate on a motorcyle tell the guard you are going to “Eagles Pride RV Repair” to schedule a repair. That will get you past the gate. Follow the signs to “Eagles Pride” and park. Call me an I will give you the 10 cent tour. This really is a nice place to live, but having a motorcylce does require some comprimises.

Send me an email with contact info if you want more info.

Thanks Clifford. Your edit function should work, I tried it with no problem. You may try logging out and then back in. If you continue to have the problem, let us know and we’ll try to get it resolved.

Jon, I will unpush that panic button and do a methodical search for evidence of oil. Your words are comforting since my dryer is not slobbering oil everywhere and I don’t have an aux compressor putting moisture into the system. Yes, mine was a seated coach. Like you, I’ve gotten only a little tan oily water from the wet tank drain. For now, I will change dryer cartridge often and monitor the wet tank closely to protect everything downstream. I think Tom put his finger on the source of my panic when he mentioned the check valve in the bleed/fill line (I don’t see it on my drawing). Fragments of the shattered one-way plastic valve on the air cartridge I changed may have gotten into that check valve to give me the indications that have caused me so much concern. Thank you, Tom. I’ll clean the line thoroughly and give the check valve special attention or replace it. Then I’ll follow Clifford’s advice and replace the compressor… when the snow is not blowing around me. Thanks guys for all your help.

I know that the LED lights that DKO was talking about can be used with a dimmer, the LEDs look the same. An Email or phone call to the company would settle the fact.
