  • Forum User Suggestions Wanted

Posted by Archived on April 12, 2012 at 9:42 am

In an effort to improve our forum, we would like your honest
constructive suggestions as to what changes should be made to the
forum. Please keep in mind we can’t solve every problem in this day
of constantly changing communication devices and would like to keep
the suggestions down to the basics of user friendly items.

We have already identified the following:

    Ipad

    Ipad 2 workability
for 5.0 and above, Ipad 3 seems to be OK

    Last Post

Most want a button “New” that
would give them the new post since last log-in that would include the
posters handle and date. The flags currently are the best source for
new posts. If you use the “View posts since your last visit” at
the top of the forum, it takes you directly to those post without
names or dates and is not in a good format.

    Your input would be greatly
    appreciated..

Not wanting a repeat offense recorded for … repeating, really miss the “First unread” post factor saves a lot of time which, I usually have an abundance of. Just wondering….

I want to see the time out sessions changed so when trying to post a long response or new thread we don’t get bumped back into “guest” status and lose the post into cyberspace when we try to post it.

I’ll raise my hand on that on along with Jon. To the best of my knowledge, twice my post in the process was lost and gone somewhere into cyberspace. If the phone rings your cyber history.

    Other items needing careful consideration;

    Free membership on PC

    Prevost parts discount of 30%

    Medical and dental plans

    Matching 401 plan

Retirement benefits when unable to drive the bus

    Vacation pay

    Sickleave

Hotel and rent a car passes

    Flying J meal card

I think this will pretty much covers my X-mas wish list. Guy’s if I have missed anything feel free.

Thanks…. Truk and A-1 for making it happen

    Al,

Knowing you’re a big business man, I can’t believe you missed those items in your Contract along with the quarterly dividend checks you agreed to donate to the home for ex bus owners!

Dito on the time out deal.

I know you only get what you pay for, but Holly Cow to get bumped out of providing CONTENT, well that doesn’t make sence.

Now for a taker that’s just reading and sucking information out that seems reasonable.

Al, Go to your room until the squeezin’s wears off. As to the 30% discount, there is no way I want to change from the 50% discount the rest of us get.

    Jim…….does Barb know about Laura?

While “thumbing thru” the coaches for sale section, several of them caught my eye. I was a bit dismayed to find that when I opened the pictures the box didn’t seem large enough to see the entire picture without scanning around a bit. For instance, it is difficult to see the effect of the lovely green sofa AND the hardwood floor all at the same time.

I may be doing something wrong. If not, a larger field would be nice.

BTW; how long after a coach is sold does it stay on this list before being taken down?

    Chuck,

The coaches listed for sale by private owners time out after 90 days, at which point the ad has to be renewed. Coaches for sale by dealers or converters can theoretically remain for as long as an advertiser is paid up, possbily as long as 1 year, but those are almost always removed as the coach is sold.

Generally speaking phone calls about the coach after the coach is sold is a clue the ad needs to be taken down.

You aren’t going to see any whose last price change was in 2009 as we have seen on some sites. You know those are too old to be still for sale.

I found a bug. Clicking on the coaches for sale in Chrome gives me no pictures at all. Safari is good.

Chrome is a problem, I had to switch to Firefox that I actually like better. Chrome did an update about a month ago and after that, there was a problem. Prior to that, Chrome worked well.

    Well since you ask—-

It may already be there – but I didn’t find it.

Add the Prevost service center phone numbers to the Prevost Ad. I needed to call the Nashville branch the other day and naturally looked to PC and ——-

Congratulations on the membership numbers – that is amazing. Keep up the good work.
