    Woody,

I cut and paste right in the body of my post. But there are guys on here a lot smarter about computers than me.

    Woody,

When you type the name of the link you want to post, highlight it, then click on the highlighted Link above (picture of a chain). Then enter your link address at your good to go.

It will look like this: Prevost

Is there a way to upload pictures by the browsing method instead of the URL method?

The software of this forum reduces the size of digital photos automatically to a usable size for the Avatar, are photos uploaded to the body of the forum also automatically resized or must they be the correct size prior to uploading?

I suggest you have a locked thread at the page top with questions and answers about the forum functions and policy of posting.

    JIM

Pictures are resized automatically for all functions of the web site, whether uploading photos of a coach for sale, posting a photo or an avatar.

When I want to insert a photo in a thread, if it is in my pictures file I browse when the drop down box appears and then open it. If it is a URL, I have no clue how others do it, but I save the photo to my files, then browse and open it via the box. I use the exact same method to upload photos of coaches for sale.

This is a test. I do not get a drop down with “browse”. To post the image I ignored the URL part and clicked the upload button. This let me choose what I wanted to post from my files. I selected the photo and followed the prompts.

That is the correct way Jim, click upload to pick out a picture on your computer or if you want to post a URL, just enter the address or cut and paste like Jon said.
