Hi Tom,
Yes, we did. After a lot of research (and consultation with knowledgeable sources), we decided that it was a little too complicated and best to take it to Marathon. We reduced from 8 to 4 house batteries, and had a group 31 and isolator installed for the generator. They did a great job. Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I reached out to Marathon directly and learned that they’ve done this before. As with most things, it’s not as simple as I had hoped. I’ll want to add a group 31 battery and isolator dedicated solely for generator use/charging.
Don, I’ll still be watching for a house for sale in your neighborhood…I want you for a neighbor!

ART, Same here. I installed a shut off valve on the Air Horn and Air Seat in the steering compartment. Had Air Horn switch fail at 6:00 AM in RV park in Indio, Ca. Made a few angry campers. Seat air leak happened while underway at highway speed. Used “vice grips” for temporary fix.

Thank you all, the cooling fan was still running, but very dirty. That cleanup seems to have resolved the problem I will dig deeper with a little more time.
Given the age coupled with old technology, I believe my mind is going in the direction of replacing both inverters. The enthusiasm from members that have done, so makes me want to join that club.

Mine go to a float mode when plugged in and batteries are charged. I’m learning! Lol ?? it’s a lot different than our old Dutchstar for sure! The support out here is awesome and I appreciate you all!

Its tiny, I have an assortment and used whatever worked. Take the valve apart and slip one on.
I think its suppose to be open about 1/4 turn?

1995 Kubota V2203 – This valve was leaking at 12,000 hrs 9+ yrs ago. Fixed it by putting a new o-ring in it. 14,000 hrs now and it still doesn’t leak. I did have to put a set of rod bearing in it at 13,000 hrs.

I can vouch for that removal tool I purchased one last year and removed both driver and passenger side foggy windows cleaned, re-sealed the double panes and they are now clear as can be. The tool works perfectly but as Mikee mentioned you have to be patient and take your time cutting the sealant.

Thank you to all that offered help. Josh at ETLC came through for us. Thanks Josh!

Just an FYI… The Raritan temperature and pressure “pop off” valve is NOT the typical valve that is available at Home Depot etc.
The Raritan uses a 75 PSI T & P valve.
