Try to reset it, Unplug from 120v turn off battery power make sure inverter screen is totally off, Give it a couple of minutes then turn on 12 or 24 volt then plug it back in to AC volts 120v then see what happens.

Sounds like the 30amp breaker on the inverter has tripped. Push the breaker in, should be a small round one and should cure your problem.

Sounds like 1 of 3 things:

    1) Its dirty inside of it and over heating. Remove cover and blow it out.

    2) the cooling fan in it needs to be replaced. Those little fans are available online or local supply store.

    3) its old and electrical components inside of it are dying. I replaced mine 5+ yrs ago with two MagnumEnergy MS2812.

Thank you all, the cooling fan was still running, but very dirty. That cleanup seems to have resolved the problem I will dig deeper with a little more time.

Given the age coupled with old technology, I believe my mind is going in the direction of replacing both inverters. The enthusiasm from members that have done, so makes me want to join that club.

    Good morning Don

Can you provide more information on the magnum MS2812 that you installed?

can you provide more information on the magnum MS2812 that you installed?

I see some members online have added remotes and options and not sure what direction to go. I do have LiPo batteries as replacement for my house batteries. Not sure the extras are required and still believe in the keep it simple process.

‘thanks for anything you can offer

Do you have a Liberty 12v Classic? or a 24v Lady?
    June of 2016 I replaced my 12v/2500w Freedom inverter/chargers with MagnumEnergy MS2812 12v/2800w. Here’s a link for the MS2812:
At the time Lifepo4 wasn’t a thing so I installed MagnumEnergy ME-RC remotes. Nowadays they offer ME-ARC remote witch has a pre-programmed setting for Lifepo4 batts. Here’s a link for the ME-ARC remote:
    Dec of 2021 I installed/switched from Lifeline agm 12v house batts to Renogy Lifepo4 12v house batts. Here’s a thread I did:
After I installed the Lifepo4 batts, and to this very day, I continue to use the regular ME-RC remotes. I custom set the way I want to charge the Lifepo4 batts with the “Custom” and “CC/CV” setup functions.
No regrets. Everything is still going strong.
    Your results may vary
