No, the window is glued in. It is a lot of work to get aal the glue cut to remove the window

my understanding was prevost used sikaflex. Dremel tool cutting wheels will cut it. Just not sure if side trim needs removing.

Steve, did you end up removing your window last year? Mine is fogged a bit and have been considering removing it to see if I could clean it before just replacing it. If you did, do you have a cliff-notes version of what you did. The procedure seems to not be talked about much as if it was part of “Fight Club”.

Get one of these and work slow and be patient

I can vouch for that removal tool I purchased one last year and removed both driver and passenger side foggy windows cleaned, re-sealed the double panes and they are now clear as can be. The tool works perfectly but as Mikee mentioned you have to be patient and take your time cutting the sealant.

Hello Jerry,
where did you get the glass spacer/seal to reassemble and did you either pull a vacuum or insert nitrogen when you put the two glass panes together. I am considering doing the entry door glass on my bus.
thanks

I buy window spacers from DK hardware for my house double pane repairs. they have 3/16 spacers on a roll -dont know what the current distance between panes
search for super spacer
are. I used Sika auto windshield urethane to seal perimeter of the two panes.

Hey Alex,
I got the spacers from my local ACE Hardware (3/16) and got the cord sealant from Amazon a 13ft roll link. The roll sealant was 3/8 to make sure I got a good seal when I pressed the windows together to the spacers (6). I used silka to seal the window back in place.

I would be interested in hearing more about the process to remove, clean, and reinstall the driver/passenger door windows.
Can someone link the spacers?
I’m curious on the process of cleaning the windows and also putting the double panes back together. Can someone that has done this go into a bit more detail on the process? I thought there was some special cleaning agent. The nearest place to me is about 6 hours away. I’m not willing to ship the windows for this. I’d rather do it myself though.
Thanks.

Hi Jerry,
thanks for the info, If I am successful with the entry door, I will then attempt the large trapezoid window behind the driver seat.
