Our bus is as originally built. I don’t know if these are the same valves that are on your bus.

I don’t know the Prevost part#s. I don’t buy these from Prevost. I buy them from Norgren and/or ebay

The following applies to our bus, a 96 XL 40 Liberty Classic, S-5665, Liberty #331. I don’t know if these are the same valves that are on your bus?

I found the Norgren part#s on the Norgren valves themself.

Ours has four K910026 = K41EA00KS1KA2 – 3port/2way – $58 from Norgren or work your best deal from a guy on ebay selling the K910026.

    Ours has three K910058 = K81EA00KACKAC – 5port/3way – $95 from Norgren or ebay

Ours has two K41EA00KS1KV2 – 3port/2way – $101 from Norgren or ebay. See my recent thread about replacing/rebuilding these

They are good for a few years but you might have to spray some cleaner on it just to make sure it’s has no dirt or gunk in the hole

Our CC had space for a ladder but no ladder, the 17 ft Little Giant fits perfectly in there. I have a pair of non-marring ladder foot covers that I picked up many years ago at Home Depot but they have gotten harder over the years and should probably be replaced. I have used it as an A frameladder quite a bit but not as an extension yet. Costco usually runs a sale on them so check them if you are a member.

    Mine has a solid linkage.

If its like a car slave you could take it appart and clean it really well with brake cleaner. Get a little pick and carefully remove the “o ring” and see if you can measure it and get a replacement. If the piston and bore are in good shape (not scratched badly) you should be able to put it back together. Worst case you could get a hone and polish the bore and maybe some extra fine emery cloth on the piston to take out any scratches. Try to flush clean fluid through the tubing before you put it back together.

    good luck!

    Brett,

Go to the search button on the forum page. Then enter Angola Coach. There is a good discussion on your question. I purchased my coach from Panterra and they did an interior remodel for us. We were very happy with all they did for us. Don Wolfe had incredible knowledge of Angola and although he has retired I wouldn’t hesitate to ask the Panterra folks if he could be reached for information. The story as I understand it that Angola was eventually sold by the originator and after the noncompete clause expired the old owner began building as American Coach.I believe Don may have worked on every Angola built and later on American Coach units.

im thinking this is between the tags and forward of the engine. Not really in a position to get in there where I am (no jacks/stands/blocks). If I get a service tech out here, ill have them swap in a new one rather then cleaning… But if I can’t get a new one a cleaning will hopefully work to get me down the road (like JAX).

    Andy,

Float voltage of your house batteries at 12.7 is way too low. Your float should be 13.3. I don’t know what house batteries you have, but most AGM’s will need at least 13.3 for float. I sell Lifelines and they should be at 13.3.

The dates will not work for us. Good luck. It appears you have a good rally going.

    CHUCK……….

PAY ATTENTION TO THIS…… YOU NEED TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AS TO THE VOLTAGES. YOU CAN CHARGE THE BATTERIES WITH 24 VOLTS UNTIL THE BOVINES RETURN HOME, BUT IF YOUR EQUALIZER HAS QUIT THE COACH WILL NEVER START AND IF YOU TRY JUMPING IT YOU RUN THE RISK OF CONVERTING A $5000 SLIDE CONTROL TO A WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK.

THE FACT YOUR BALANCE LIGHT WAS ON IS A CLUE OF RATHER SERIOUS PROPORTIONS.

I’M TRYING TO SAVE YOU SOME SERIOUS MONEY.

The line should come from the R12 valve.

Thanks Jon, I’ll be skipping the polishing of said slack adjusters. Will add these to my list of things to do this spring while I spend some time in Tennessee.

Also sounds like the best source for these parts is anyone but Prevost.
