Anyone know the Bus
Does anyone know the H3 Bus that Pantera just listed?
Does anyone know anything about Angola as a bus converter? I know nothing about them or their work.

Go to the search button on the forum page. Then enter Angola Coach. There is a good discussion on your question. I purchased my coach from Panterra and they did an interior remodel for us. We were very happy with all they did for us. Don Wolfe had incredible knowledge of Angola and although he has retired I wouldn’t hesitate to ask the Panterra folks if he could be reached for information. The story as I understand it that Angola was eventually sold by the originator and after the noncompete clause expired the old owner began building as American Coach.I believe Don may have worked on every Angola built and later on American Coach units. -
Brett, Angola was a simple and straight forward conversion wth no proprietary systems, very much like a Royale. Judging only by the pics this looks like a nice bus with a good layout. The 365 steer and tag upgrade is also a nice bonus. Randy and his guys are honest and sraight shooters. I would see how much of the history they are aware of. Then if still interested you will have to see, feel, touch and work every system. The market says that an “orphan” is not worth as much, but they are really nothing to be afraid of, especially Royale and Angola and to a certain extent a Country Coach. We had a CC and loved most everything about it with the exception of the proprietary dash and motherboard. We love our single slide H and that bus has even a better setup for the bdrm not having a bdrm slide. Geo.

We also bought our coach from Panterra and we have been happy dealing with them. We will likely have them do some modifications for us in the salon in the near future as well. -
As George said, Angola is a well built coach with robust systems. I would not be afraid of any Angola coach.

Panterra also if I remember correctly owns the proprietary information to Angola, as well as slide room technology from Rogue Coach originally from Medford Or who Marathon used in mid 90”.

We purchased 2 different new Angola Coaches. A 2000 H-345 non-slide and a 2002 H-345 double slide. We were extremely happy with the quality and simplicity of both coaches. We kept the 2002 double slide for several years until my stroke indicated my RV days might be over. Don’t fear buying an Angola. There is nothing on them that you will not find on other coaches. Fewer bells and whistles and a lot fewer problems. We purchased our present old classic only after a full recovery from the stroke. -
That’s a nice looking bus, but how do you service the generator, hidden behind the slide structure? Hugh?

We also purchased our Coach from PANTERRA. We live in the area, and they are one of my clients as well, so I have occasion to visit frequently. I have seen and “toured’ that coach personally, and I can tell you it is really georgeous.
Hard to find more Passionate PREVOST Enthusiasts, or more friendly people than team PANTERRA. 🙂

We had a 92 Angola XL. We had it for 5 years and put 110,000 miles on it. Great bus with straightforward and simple systems. Even being 10 years old the folks at Panterra knew our coach and were always helpful if we had a question. I really like that bus because it was easy to work on and very well designed from a ease of use and repair standpoint. I wish a convertor would build one like it today.

Yes, absolutely if you would please. I just talked to Rex, but he said he would not see it until next week. We had some questions from him concerning storage in the kitchen and measuring the couch width. But if you would like to look at it as if you were buying I would apprecite it. I am new and never owned a bus, so very candid is what I need.lol
