To add to Jon’s post, the generator will charge the chassis batteries providing you have a chassis charger. You may or may not have a charger.

When the coach has been sitting overnight and I walk up to it in the morning from the outside, the keyfob will not unlock the door the first try. I have to hit lock/unlock a couple of times to wake the system up.
When I’m on the inside after a good nights sleep, I will hit the unlock button to the right of the front door on the wall, it will not work until I turn the ignition key to acc. to energize the system. I then turn the ignition key back off.
This will work normally until the next morning as the system will then go back to sleep.
Prevost has looked at it three times and has turned off my alarm system. If I just unlock the entrance door manually from the inside, it will make the alarm go off when I open the door. I guess I need to make a ‘4th’ attempt but now we have just gone out of warranty 2 days ago. LOL!

Easiest way to check your fan clutch bearing, is……….WITH THE ENGINE OFF!! press on the clutch fan belt and hold pressure on the belt, while turning with your hand, the fan blades. If you hear, or feel a rough bearing………then it’s time.

Just had the same issue, cannot find a leak, added fluid and ran all day yesterday with an issue.

That would be great if a mid country rally would get started, PC would support it for sure. A good example is the Claw Fest in Naples this coming January, put together by Cory and George and I think it’s now passed 25 coaches attending. So I think a mid U S rally would draw a nice crowd and would be a good time.

If all I had to worry about were the cars with bald tires, cracked windshields, red tape for tail lights, and engines hitting on 4 of their 6 cylinders I would do a happy dance. But the problem here in TN, and maybe elsewhere, it seems the drivers cannot afford to fix their cars, but they have enough money to buy pot, and endlessly text on their phones. So they are stoned, distracted, and driving a car that is held together with duct tape.
Never mind………..I just got it. They are driving a POS because they spend their money on pot and a data plan.

JonP has your issue been resolved with auto start function….Mr. Mark as to the rebuild process of the battery, I personally know of no coaches that have had batteries replaced or rebuilt because of age, although we are getting closer to that 10 year mark. The problem I see with rebuilding them is how long is a customer willing to leave their coach shut down for them to be rebuilt…..Also with technology changes, there as it appears need to be some other updates to the system for some of the shut off features….

On my coach it monitors how much charge/discharge is happening with the house batteries. I noticed in your picture your house battery voltage is very low. Perhaps this erratic reading could be associated with bad house batteries? It seems like I remener you asking for house batteries a while back. If you haven’t replaced them it could be related. I’m not an electrician but do know that when our house batteries are shot strange things start happening.

Bill replace with single pane I had one made and put it in and never a issue again then I sold both coaches that I did it two and they are still good , replaced outer one only but took hole window out , I had a place in Washington state build it they are the best but for some reason I can not find info on them but I will

Betty and I are not certain about being able to attend the Florida Nov function but this past week in Kerrville, Texas there was a Newmar rally while we were passing through. A set of workers from Dazzling Details of Florida had come to Kerrville to wash and clean coaches attending the rally.
The point is that they were excellent and were heading to Prevost Ft Worth after the rally. They also did my coach and I was very impressed.
I assume that you all know of this Florida company. My thought was that they are an obvious add on for any group.

We attended a seminar and learned about the various facets of a Prevost. After we bought a coach, we then took it to Jeff’s to zero it out.
Because we travel across the country, we’ve also had work done at several Prevost locations, as well as Marathon. They were all very professional, but Jeff’s is our favorite place so far …and very fair, despite the $500 oil changes 🙂

If you can get to the gauge easily, short the sender terminal to ground briefly and see if the gauge moves. (Key on). If so go the the sending unit at the tank and check the ground, then short the send terminal to ground and see if the gauge moves, if so and the ground is good it is the sending unit.
