Generator coolant down to sensor in 4 hrs running
Anyone had a problem with losing coolant and shut down sensor in radiator ?After 4 hours running system shuts down because coolant in radiator has dropped below the sensor? I thought at first it was maybe the overflow tank was not large enough. We get overflow coolant in the floor of the generator bay. It’s a 2003 Royale XL II Thanks, Jim Steed

You probably have a leak in one of the hoses you cannot see on the back of the generator. Is it on a slide?
If so, check for the source of the anti-freeze.

Coolant could be blowing back from overheating with cooling fan not functioning….does your coolant temp gauge work and have you noticed it climbing?

That same problem was happening with my Kubota it was the head gasket. -
Jeff’s idea has my vote. A head gasket or a crack in the head might be the problem. Just hope that it is the leaky hose, but if it was you would see evidence of coolant on the floor. With a head gasket problem or cracked head the coolant goes out the exhaust. Any coolant in the oil?

If you fill the small plastic bottle to the full line cold you will have coolant overflow after running several hours.
The small bottle serves holding extra fluid and expansion tank. Keep mine a couple inches from bottom.

Just had the same issue, cannot find a leak, added fluid and ran all day yesterday with an issue.
