Looking at Jerry’s fuel schematics mine is a lot like that but my AUX tank is in the 1st front bay up against back wall opposing bay #2 It has plywood and carpet covering it but with a flash light I can see a small hose coming off the top of tank and heading probably to main tank it looks like a vent for AUX tank. Do you think Prevost or Royale(Monaco) Added Aux tank, Reason I’m asking is at the bottom of Main tank there is a 1 1/2 fitting to supply Aux tank with fuel.

    Art,

Not trying to be a smartazz. What does the service manual tell you with regard to tank construction and access panels? I found the Prevost service manual for my serial number coach to have an incredible amount of information.

If your rubber is good and doesn’t leak or not cracked, leave it alone. your 1-2 hour job will turn into an all day job if not longer.

    Yes beautiful Bus Don!

Totally agree with the DIY motto, I love getting my hands dirty. I’m starting my third year with my 93 Marathon and love every minute of it! All maintenance is done for free as your’s I’ve only had a couple major maintenance items that I had to replace so far, which was a water pump in 2022 and starter earlier this year…right now I’m working on removing the paint on all my bay doors to make it all polished stainless from end of the paint line just above my bay doors. Had to replace the scraped lower panels on both my water bay doors and I liked the look of polished stainless so gonna go that route all around. Then next will be a Tropi-cool or Bus-Kote on the roof later this month.

Haven’t actually sat down and tabulated costs yet but I do have them all documented in my maintenance and navigation logs.

Now that I’m retired look forward to 2025 for some great travels!

I’m from the school that Rock trucks need an air ride seat, not a luxury MH.

If it did ride so bad that it needed an air ride seat, it would be where the boss sits, shotgun 🙂 and she hasn’t said anything yet.

There is a electrical control circuit also. Switches the steering box & slave from a low speed hi assist mode to a highway mode..there are electric wires hooked to that ZF steering box . There also is ZF control module little bigger than the common relays . Drivers elec. access front of the busy elec. area on the shelf . It has ZF logo on it.

Also, check the power steering filter in the fluid reservoir. Who knew one even existed?

Dont understand replacing the three belts with one. If the one of one breaks, youre done, if one of three breaks you can still go!

It would try to start but then blew the 12 volt breaker, got that fixed now it will try to start but will never really catch. Acts like it’s a control issue. The iPad keeps giving gen error

I had five stents put in at age 48 in 2000.

    Quad by-pass at age 60 in 2012.

    Two more stents in 2016.

NASCAR cleared me for an Xfinity license and in 2019 I ran the Xfinity race at Road America.

I can definitely attest to the fact that there is certainly life after by-pass!!!!!!

Well looking at how it is intermittent it has to be something electrical. Have you pulled the valve cover and looked at the wiring to the solenoids? I’m sure you’ve gone through checking relays and circuit breakers already. Thats seem to be a tough one, but if you haven looked under the valve cover it probably wouldn’t hurt to take a look.

Hey Art…There are 6 house batteries but the two batteries in the drawing are for starting the generator. They are separated by the Vanner isolator. My chassis batteries are located in the engine compartment and are not connected or charged by the generator, but the 50DN alternator. Now the alternator does charge the chassis batteries and the house batteries.
