Thanks for all the replies :
Jeff… I wish we could make it over there…would the tires be through the Michelin Advantage program…we are already set up on the program through PC… if we could just get over there we wouldn’t have to go the Prevost Ft Worth… Jeff could take care of everything… We need 4 X 365s and 4 X 315s…. ours are 5.5 years old… few miles on them but old. Liberty installed them May of 2009.
Thanks for the Toyo suggestion… but I do want to stick with Michelins at this point.
Prevost Ft Worth does have them in stock but no advantage program though…they quoted us $1188.90 for each 365 and $1088.90 for each 315. = $9,111.20.
When we bought our last 315s through the program they were around $600 a piece.
Does anyone know what the Michelin Advantage Program price would be today??
Tom… didn’t you just buy a set???
Curious as to what the savings would be?
Thanks everyone…
Diane

Mr. Sturm,
Sorry to hear you have not received a call-back in any way. This is news to me. We have had issues with a service writer which we had to replace recently. I hope this move on our part will resolve some call-back issues we admittedly have had this summer.
Remember, for anyone in need of assistance that has trouble getting through to us, here are our direct numbers:

Could be Jon. Both are 7-point. Schematic only shows seperate breakers for each connector & not what it`s for. I`ll further investigate. Thanks !

MemberAugust 25, 2014 at 9:38 pm in reply to: what would make new drive batteries 12 and 24v goThanks guys, I will look over both areas for charger or converter. back in the winter when the outside temp was down and everything was off there was a very warm feeling in the area of the batteries. and the hiss sound from that area was without the engine running. sounded like air brake govenor cutting out. this was before i knew about the 3 8D batteries sp i was thinking the heart inverter chargers were for the 4 batteries in the engine area. no charger found.

I should have mentioned what Tom said just for clarification. The battery charger for the chassis on my coach is used when I am doing things as Tom suggests and I am drawing power from the batteries. Any project that has me messing with the lights or leaving the key on is a battery drain and my charger is used as Tom suggests to top the batteries back off. But if I don’t have any reason to use chassis power I know I can go at least three months without needing a charge.

Napa stores don’t take them in my neck of the woods either. Stores are 20 miles each way and neither one of the Turkeys take them. Had the napa store closest we used pull a monthly expense report and we spent anywhere from 500 to 1000 bucks a month out here on my equipment and that’s evey month. Started taking my business to a closer indepentent sole owned store (13 miles) that gives me a jobber discount. There are happy to see us.

When
we started PC, Big Rig wanted to be an advertiser and signed up. He
wanted to be at the very top position when you look at the
Advertiser’s page for a certain category. Since we were new, I
thought being the first Ad in a particular category would remain at
the top of the page, but it doesn’t work like that. I explained that
I made a mistake, but he got pissed and withdrew the Ad. I returned
his money and apologized for the error. In hind-site, I shouldn’t
have agreed to the page position, wouldn’t have been fair to the
other Advertisers that came on board.I
use the book also, but what is missing is any mention of overhead
clearance from branches and tree’s. That is our biggest problem in
the east, untrimmed tree’s and sites made for covered wagons. Our
new map over time will hopefully address those campgrounds that are a
problem. -
I only have the plastic baffle on the driver’s side.
As stated above road debris is typically why belts get damaged or come loose. I think on coaches with the baffles between the frame and engine rely heavily on those baffles to increase air flow through the CAC and radiator and the side benefit is they cut down on the amount of belt damage due to road debris.
Tightening the belts prior to engaging the starter is another topic because if a belt gets thown when the engine starts it is an immediate issue, not related to road debris.

Depending on the age and model Liberty the house batteries could be behind the passenger side tag axle, behind the entertainment center or in the case of my 87 coach located on a rack above the chassis batteries.
Depending on the model of the coach they could be in a 12/24 configuration or a 12 volt only.
The way to tell on a Liberty without seeing the actual house batteries is if the coach has 2 alternators (the large 50DN and a smaller one) the house is 12 volts. A single 50DN indicates the house is a 12/24 volt configuration.

Tully,
If you don’t have the manual for your model inverter they are available on line. I put mine on an iPad I use in the bus but also printed a hard copy. Just google your model and it will pop up. There is a Freedom 2500 inverter and a Freedom 2500 inverter charger model. Good luck with the fix.
