    Larry,

3 years is pretty much standard for agreed value policies.

We live just South of Nashville but have purchased a lot in The Gardens in Crossville, TN. Instead of being 3 hours from E TN Lux Coach, we will only be 1 hour once we build and move.

Here is a link to a very preliminary floor plan of our RV House. Comments welcomed. Once you click on the link, click Download and it should open in most any web browser.

Wellnuts are available as well at McMaster, MSCdirect, etc., and will all have them.

Usually for docking lights the machine screw size used is 10-32 (occasionally one may find a 10/28), and usually 1.25″ long to 1.5″ long.

Also, note that there are some Prevost docking lights that were attached with true rivnuts (the all metal kind, versus wellnuts, with rubber surrounds). Pop (and several other manufacturers) make rivnut (aka rivet nut, like saying “tissue” versus “Kleenex”).

While one can also find the tools at places like Harbor Freight, the low, low price is for a reason ($18 vs. $60-90). I learned the hard way, and had to return two of them to HF before purchasing a Pop-brand tool. What a difference!

Where is and what does the King Valve do???I just had a new compressor put in unit and it worked great until I got the low pressure code on the control unit. Will start looking tomorrow.

Tony, had to replace one (king vavle) that was leaking. After that, still have a leak ( in two cruise airs) that will go down in about a month or just enough so the compressor will not kick in and it doesn’t take much drop in freon pressure to affect that. Hope to find the leaks, but don’t want or not looking forward to, tearing the coach apart to find them. My leaks are not at the cruise air systems behind front bumper. Took the old soap spray bottle to those and all okay under there. Carry a bottle (R12) and guages, and bump charge as needed until the fix happens.

We met Nelson and Evelyn this summer while on a five week motor home trip. They both have such a passion for what they do. They make you feel comfortable like friends you’ve known forever. They welcomed us and took the time to show us around and answer all our questions. With that being said, we are excited to work with them designing our new 2016 Millennium and are looking forward to when we can take it on the road in February 2016.

On the remote control issue: does the remote light up when you push the buttons? If yes, the remote is likely ok.

Assuming your Marathon is similar to ours, then there are two things to check.

1-The receiver for the remote is in the driver-side cabinet above the bed, behind the window (to get RF signal). There is a small compartment on the engine side cabinet wall. Inside is the antenna and receiver and a fuse. Check the fuse, mine was bad.

2-Second thing to check is the fuse in the rear stateroom closet. There is a black fabric/nylon cover over the Techlink/fuse/relay panel on the passenger side in the closet. Remove that cover (just held on by velcro). Admire the wall full of relays, Techlink controllers and fuses. Towards the rear of the bus there is a column of automotive style fuses. There is a 3 amp fuse with wire marked “Remote”. Check and make sure it is good and well seated.

    Hope this helps,

    Gerald

I think that is what happened in my case, it was all happening at once…. I stick my card in to buy gas in Arizona and at the same time, or very close to it, someone in Tahiti is having a field day. Not more than 30 minutes after talking to Todd, I get a call from a westerner at the credit card provider who asks me if I just spent $$$$ in Tahiti.

Point remains a credit card being compromised is infinately better than being robbed at gun point, better than someone using your debit card and zeroing out you bank account….and yes, the card companies are watching. Still it remains to be a pain to go back through and change all the card numbers with various vendors, usually requires in many cases 30 or so minutes of listening to “you call is very important to us”, “please continue to hold”.

I think everyone will agree that these kinds of events should not be happening…we are all victims. It is a sorry testimonial on our “modern” way fo life!

The Webasto loves to run. We have no other option. We set the thermostat to 60, during the day with sub freezing temps. If the sun is out,the Webasto doesn’t cycle much at all. Have no problem leaving the bus for the day, with Webasto LEFT on, it’s our only source of heat
