H Rear Lens
Anyone know of a source for the rear lens, mine are getting faded and dull looking. LED’s would be nice, but with 16 lights, a bit pricey. They’re Hella, made in Germany and have the following numbers:
White TR13
Amber. TH1
Red. TH2
Red. TH3

Plastic can be polished. A soft buff and gentle rouge will do the job. Just avoid heat.
Those lenses look exactly like the lenses used on my 87 XL. Those quickly fell out of favor when owners started replacing them with the later version of stacked tail lights that were used from the early nineties through the end of he XL production.
Anyone have any laying around? Can Prevost supply new ones?

Your buddy just through you under the bus… You can get even though, just check his stainless when you see him, his glue might be coming loose. You can also point out the fact that Greyhounds are XLII’s.

Trying to replace mine also. Prevost says they have the lenses for cheap ($8 or 9, I think).
For LEDs I am finding that bulbs may be the most practical solution.
