OKC No Rally Rally – Sept 26 – 29
Posted by Archived on March 17, 2014 at 7:35 amOKC is back on as a mini Rally and big Al has volunteered to kick it off. He’s not awake yet, so when he finally comes alive, he may jump in here. No agenda, no schedule, but we’ll have the customary Pizza and Beer/Wine one night hosted by PC. Jdub (If you don’t know him, you will) has also volunteered to help since that is home for him.
So mark your calendar and you will have to make your own reservations, but Al will call Twin Fountains and tell them we’re coming. It don’t get much better than Oklahoma City in the fall.
Date: September 26 – 29th
Place: Twin Fountains RV Park

Very excellent. Count me in. One thing I really like about just going somewhere with nothing planned is often a bunch of us just gather around someone’s coach and we grille some hot dogs and dish up some store bought salads and get to know one another.
We can bring some wine.

We’ll bring enough polish so we all can shine up our slack adjusters.

I just got up and made the phone call to Twin Fountains RV Resort…. Oklahoma City.
Spoke to Sharon Jackson at Twin Fountains blocking out 20 spots. The reason for this is getting our group in one area or we’ll be all over the RV park. If we have over 10 sign ups we will have the inside meeting room for free.
This is probably a good idea if the weather turns nasty on the pizza and beer night.
Make your own reservation for how long you wish to stay. We’ll see how it goes.
The dates are Sept 26 (Friday) thru 29th (Monday)…..4 days.
IMPORTANT….. Tell Twin Fountains your with…… Prevost Community group.
1-866-693-1469 1-405-475-5514….. ask for Sharon Jackson

Awesome! Sorry, I’m from California — we still say that. 🙂 John and I will be there. I made our reservations, and decided we’ll just stay from the 26th of September until Friday the 3rd of October. They told me that the weekly rate was $270 or $40/night. The gal I spoke with wasn’t sure if I pay for the whole week at once or the rally dates separately. I’m assuming I pay for it altogether, but any thoughts on that?
The “no-rally” sounds perfect — we’re still new to our bus (one year in July) and while we’re in it full time and John has been retired a whole week, I won’t be retired until May 31 so am still teaching 8th grade students science.

Cathy and John,
That’s great, we’ll see you in OKC and we can assure you a good time. As for the reservation, that’s out of our hands, so just make you’re best deal. Sometimes the campgrounds will offer the rally rate for extra days.

I just called and made our reservation…. can’t wait.
Ya’ll don’t forget to sign up soon.

10 sign ups for OKC No rally rally. If you made a reservation without mentioning Prevost Community there is a chance of not being with the group in the park.
I have confirmed the meeting room is now reserved for PC use with 10 reservations.

Wow, I sure wish we had the new Prevost by then! We’ll be about 2 months late!
The ‘No Rally Rally’ sure sounds like it would be a lot of fun.
