Been towing 4 down (Saturn, Honda CRV, Wrangler, Grand Crerokee) for several years and the only problem we ever had was with an AWD CRV. We also followed the manual to a T but, according to the Honda dealer, ruined a new transmission after 3,000 miles. The dealer offered to replace the transmission every 3,000 miles if necessary (lol) under Honda’s warranty of course. I said ‘no thanks’ and after a long phone conversation with American Honda from the dealer’s showroom they decided to buy the car back from me minus $.15/mile depreciation. Fair deal.
Enter the Wrangler Unlimited. After six years the only expense other than maintenance was three sets of tires.
Now a Grand Cherokee and so far so good. Much easier than the Wrangler to switch from driving it to towing it and back again. The next toad will be an autonomous something or other and I expect it to just follow the bus aroubd without having to do anything except say, “Follow that bus”.

Your gal and mine must be sisters. I bought mine 7 years ago and just about every trip out when something goes poof, i get that look. Don’t know about the filter housing you’re talking about. You have 2 fuel filters on the motor? And I don’t know why somebody couldn’t clean it out? Spin on filter are the bomb though.

Be careful what you wish for Jimmy, I was told the rose petal dispenser causes the “single aluminum” holding tank to corrodes prematurely. Jimmy you may want to rethink that. And Dick that is one thing Marathon did not copy, and boy am i glad of it. Safe travels to all ya’ll.

We, too, have experienced such responses.
It can be hard to turn down advertising revenue, but why would you put up an ad that excludes, in an arbitrary and capricious manner, coaches over a certain age. And, by the way, is that age from chassis manufacture by Prevost, age from coach conversion, age from first purchase?!?
Completely bogus, inappropriate, and should not be accepted on this site as an advertiser at all (IMHO).a

The Marathon guys in Coburg are great. One of my techlink light output nodes lost its ID on our last trip. They reprogrammed/reinitialized the network even though it is 18 year old technology. It took two guys about two hours but they only charged me $39. And I got a free paint touch up kit for our original paint job. I was impressed.

I don’t have have chocks but thought about getting a set. They don’t really weight much so not a biggie.
Of course we have the safety cover on the emergency brake but I do have a fear of the coach rolling (don’t know why).
It would be nice to have a set to do the air brake test to prevent rolling.

When 2 years ago in June with a 40 ft coach. I believe rv camping sites were set up in the old days when a big rv was 30ft. Good luck.

If the engine is off and you are parked the engine loop needs to be open to get hot coolant to the heat exchanger and the water heater in the water bay , but the other two valves have to be open also to have that work if the other two valves are closed parked or engine running there will be no hot coolant going to the heat exchanger or the water heater or called ( hot water tank )

Thank you… I believe we have to order two new 10 gallon heaters. I will inquire of Jeff as to the model and changes.
I wish he was closer… he seems to really know his business.
I will verify with Atwood where their hose connections are for the newer models.
