Weve owned five Prevost motor homes. Three were riveted XLs, one 45 and two 40’s, and an H3-45, and an XlI 45 single slide
We used to own 2002 XLII Marathon single slide. Vin 1-7450, now destroyed. Owners after us totaled coach.
This XLII had Prevost slide with first generation slideroom locking pins. Prevost had to change them out it was a recall Also had module installed which prevented coach from being driven with slide out. If we had to do over, never would have agreed to that one. Allowance to move with slide out had its benefits
We also had panel delam on this 2002 coach back in 2003 before it was in vogue. At that time Prevost just reglued and clamped
We wouldn’t consider another XLII unless the “patch panel” repair has been done. Don’t want to thru that again

Rate was very competitive on my 16 year old coach. Don’t be put off by the regs on the web site. Talk to Brad Mason and see what he can do. They did not request one but I had an independant appraisal done and supplied it to them. Don’t know if it swayed them or not. Of course percent of down payment will make a difference. Glad to hear that you are fully recovered. Corey must have done a great job taking care of you.

Call Prevost asap before you go out of warranty. That way, you will know if you are dealing a warranty issue and they will direct you to the right person.

My “Hago” brand spare Aquahot fuel nozzle came in this container so storage time is unlimited.

Just a FYI, when searching for a leak with an ultrasonic detector, if you apply an amplifier (soapy water, or leak detection liquid) even the air bag leaks can be detected. The bubbles popping will emit sound that is detectable by the detector. Like Jon said, if you are fortunate get your hands on a leak detector, you will find the leak.

Geez!! Jon, for the same reason the charger is disconnected when the ignition is turned on. Who knows what damage can occur in a powered up charger receiving voltage from an outside source? Do you? So why take a chance on leaving a diodeless charger powered up when the alternator is charging the batteries? But since you aren’t an advocate of chassis smart chargers anyway, you don’t have to be concerned.

We are getting close to the Air and Coach Concours in November. It is a great event and lots of fun.
The event runs from 11/8 through 11/13 so block out some time and come to Lakeland FL. Lots to see and do and a lot of great fun connecting with other Prevost owners.

Yes, this is the same bus. Dave and Carol did the restore and sold it three years ago to Jim (in the video). The restoration took 2.5 years and they kept it for a total of ten years.
I’ve been in contact with Dave and Carol and they have been very helpful!
I guess you can call this a “Nash” bus as it was restored in Nash, sold to guy in Nashville and then sold to a guy who’s originally from Nashville!

My old coach (1991 XL) sitting out in the barn looks and runs like new. They do hold there looks but like anything you have to keep them up. Bought ours off the original owner after he passed and the wife called and asked if we wanted it about 6 or 7 years ago . Had 52,000 miles on it and looked like it rolled off the showroom floor. Knew ours from the first get go as our fab shop did work for his company and stepped in it after the trip down from converter in 1992.. Bought ours for cash never looked back. Had a single slide 35′ Holiday Rambler at the time and there is no comparision on the ride and handling. Up until last month (sold the ranchito) still had cow poop on my boots and wear a c boy hat and faded wranglers. Stereotype me and you would think I would work for beer or be begging for some.
