Hung out with BA tonight who took Cindy & I out to a fantastic BBQ place! Thx!

I have a plastic latch that’s broke and Al told me someone knows of a latch company I can order a replacement.

Here are to pics of the latch which is for one of my closet doors.

    Any suggestions?

    Southco

    https://www.southco.com/en-us/

Buy a bunch of them. Over time they seem to break.

You can get them in differant ratings for how heavy the drawer is you wish to keep latched…Most used are 5 and 10 pound rated latches….Anything from refridgerator to drawers with pots and pans or books get the 10 otherwise 5 is good for the rest….

BA should have them in stock after the winter stay next to my house. He made a serious dent in my brass and I’m sure I have missing hardware.

So how about warranty ? One of the used, I’am using the word “used” brass fittings I found in his coffee can began leaking. That whole assembly removed and rebuilt again now back in KC.

I wonder where he keeps the good stuff ?

No brass here, these are fairly cheap plastic latches, which I didn’t find on the site Dick provided …

    Try this:

    http://www.boatoutfitters.com/Hardware/Southco-Door-Grabber-Latch-C3-805.html

If you have Southco latches, they aren’t “cheap plastic”. They are engineered, latching devices made of space-age polymers.

I’ve found that there are lots of parts and do-dads on our Liberty Coach that have their origin in the high-end, big dollar yacht industry. I suspect that Marathon probably copied many of Liberty’s innovations in luxury coach converting and detailing.

I wish Marathon would copy Liberty’s Rose Petal Dispensers.

UglyFish .com has them in all 3 spring strengths and in boyh black and white. All three strengths also come in two different sizes. Unless Jeff has them this is is the only place I have found white.

    That’s it Dick!

Well, thought they were cheap plastic 🙂

I actually found them on Amazon for half the price and they look identical.

Be careful what you wish for Jimmy, I was told the rose petal dispenser causes the “single aluminum” holding tank to corrodes prematurely. Jimmy you may want to rethink that. And Dick that is one thing Marathon did not copy, and boy am i glad of it. Safe travels to all ya’ll.
