Thanks Don. I have the owners manual, and it also says to oil it, but doesn’t say where. Calling them tomorrow.

OK, you decide… Take away the Burger King hat and you tell me who that is? I’m thinking it may be the likeness to Jeff that made me decide to flip burgers there? A subliminal message, WoW!

I have a new plan. I’m just going to convoy with John and Terri!

For years, since 1998, 380 Colt Mustang in my boot everyday, everywhere, and a 45 Colt Defender under my shirt. Have a 12 gauge Winchester Defender besides my coach seat that goes everywhere it rolls. . We are protected.

The windshield scenario was if the coach was on its side. Jon’s comments re safety glass are noted, but if (God forbid) we were flipped on one side we’d have difficulty reaching up to get to the side windows. Good to think about emergency reactions ahead of time, though.

I am not a Pressure Pro expert and my experience is related solely to the Pulse with the latest sensors with close temperature readings.
Installation is relatively simple using the hard wired antenna Tom mentions. On my coach which will be somewhat different than an H3 or a converter other than a Liberty it involved dropping the antenna down into the steer compartment, and in my case over the wheel well behind the rubber flange on the wheel opening arch, then towards the rear where I fastened it to the hold down strap on the fuel tank. It needs a chassis ground, it needs to get as far to the rear as possible and that location satisfied both requirements. I think I had about 1 1/2 to 2 hours invested running the antenna.
I still occasionally verify the pressure readings, but since it is almost 9 months since installed I am satisfied it is accurate. I am within 1 PSI or less between the Pressure Pro and the digital tire pressure gauge I use.
With the model I have the temperatures are always very close to one another but be aware it is not actually reading temps, but is using an algorithm to calculate them. The temperatures are very close to what I have read with the IR gun.
I have mentioned my only suggestions to the folks at Pressure Pro and they are simple. First, always scroll the pressures. The screen display turns off after a while and I think it would be easier and safer if I did not have to press a button to scroll through the pressures. The second concern is make an out of range pressure alert loud in addition to a flashing display. We have a lot of noises in the coach so since tire pressures are a serious safety issue the PP needs to have a predictive audible alert when pressures are moving towards a dangerous level, up or down.
What sold me on it was I can use any of my three toads and all I have to do is pick which one I am hitched to. Makes it really easy.

My objection is taking already complex and difficult to service coaches and making them worse in the respect that they are more prone to failure, more difficult to service, have a shorter useful life, and except for being able to open the bay door locks with a cell phone really do not provide a measurable benefit.
I have mentioned it before, but it bears repeating. Just to open the pocket door next to the refrigerator I have to open the plexiglass door over the electrical panel. I have to poke the Crestron monitor to wake it up. I have to find the button to poke to open the page that has the pocket door open/close command on it, and finally after looking at a screen with about 20 buttons I do locate the right one so I can open the door.
If I was on the other side of the door all I would have to do is push the button right next to the door.
If the electrical upgrade never involved anything more complex than pushing a button or switch right next to the task you want to accomplish like turning on a light, opening a door, adjusting a temperature, etc. I am all for it but these “upgrades” add another layer of complexity and actually make it frustratingly difficult to do even the simple things.
We are from different schools of thought regarding what constitutes an upgrade.
I agree it is tough to justify a rebuilt 50 Ford, but it is one of our toads and we just priced a new Jeep Grand Cherokee to use as our next toad when we have to replace the 12 year old Hummer and found out we have far less invested in the Ford than in a new GC.

Big truck Jake brake noise not going through the muffler! The altitude in Driggs has finally got to you Per.
Please tell us where the Jake noise (air) escapes the muffler?

yes, 47 psi in bags Mikee
Jon I looked on the side you could see, no adjustment there, I’ll get the mirror and look on back side.
I remember replacing a fan clutch before, and don’t remember adjustable holes., but could be.
It seems like if the base of the big bracket that bolts to the floor could be moved towards the radiator, then it would tilt the fan back straight, and make the belts tighter too. I think any adjustments would be critical as close as everything is.

I would like to know that too..
