Mark, you have the level monitors made by Headhunter.
http://www.headhunterinc.com/products/fluid/tanksentry.html
If you go to that site it will show you the types you have and go to donwloads to find the correct owner’s manual which will explain how to calibrate the unit. Rather than filling and draining the tanks I made up a tube that is as tall as the tanks and I fill that plastic tube with water to calibrate the monitor.
If you continue to have issues you may wish to contact Headhunter for help.

I tow an H2 and have since 2005. I have traveled as long as three days without running it or unhooking it and the battery has never gone dead. I travel with the key out because the steering wheel does not lock. What might be different is I use a Brakemaster which is air operated and so I am sure I am not relying on the H2 battery to power the brake lights when the brakes are applied via the Brakemaster I installed a switch in the brake light circuit.

Hopefully Monroe’s “Save a Squirrel” campaign doesn’t catch on like Jiffy Lube’s successful campaign to get us to change our oil every 3,000 miles. Road condition is probably the number one variable in how long your shocks are serviceable.

Mark,
Where would you like me to send the check for that valuable information you provided?

Sounds like a great step up in room and comfort. I bet you can’t wait to get in and take it up to your old stomping grounds in NY for a spring break!

Hector, would this cover the 1991 prevost coach?

The contactors shown have a manual test
button. With the generator off and shore power plugged in, Press the black
button on the contactor face or cover, if the power comes on, you probably have
a bad contactor coil. Note that some systems may/will have a mechanical
interlock or an electrical interlock preventing both contactors from closing automatically.
Manual activation will bypass an electrical safety but not a mechanical
interlock, you will still have fuse or circuit breaker protection. If manual
activation gives you a scare, make sure the generator is off; with shore power plugged
in and push the manual activation button with a short stick or broom handle. -
Andre,
When I attempted to approve your article, it was blank. I have our Website guy checking it out and we’ll get back to you.
