Mike at Villa made arrangements to work on the driver’s seat cushion for me and it was no hassle. I would just call them. He is in CA and his number is 562-404-8111

I think they have something in Indiana too, but this was the guy Liberty told me to call when I had an issue.

Hi Jon, I don’t sit anywhere near that far back, that’s the picture originally shown on the for sale writeup. I thought I read somewhere this was a Prevost dash but I’d not be surprised to be wrong again!

They put a box on mine to allow the outside tv to slave off the main one. Does not work real good. If not mistaken , believe it is a signal booster going from HDMI to coax. Best way is to have them put a genie wirless box in the front and broadcast within the bus.

Love the tool box Buddy! Is it secured to your bay floor?

Looks like Jeff’s oil changes are reaping big dividends for his employees 🙂

They started on the coach yesterday morning, and by 1000 this morning, it was done. In addition to the valve adjustment, they replaced the buttons on the valve train. The buttons were still there, but six of the clips had come loose. If you have the old style buttons, it is a matter of time until they come off–Tom posted some pictures of his engine. In addition, they also fixed oil leaks at the oil cooler, oil filter, and the rear crank seal. The mechanic who did the work has about 50 years experience–he has been working with the owner all that time. Nothing like having someone with 50 years experience work on your coach! Super nice folks to deal with, and I would highly recommend them for engine work.

I’m pretty sure if Tom had his smartphone handy all he would have had to do was press a button to stop the flow, right Karl?

The “silver” designation is I think just because when the engines went from mechanical to DDEC controlled the color was changed from a green / blue color to silver.

I know my 8V92 which was silver went faster than the old engines………..NOT!

Joe, it is part of the OTR road heating system using engine coolant to supply the heat. I’m just happy the heat was gone before it reached my feet!

    Glens,

It was under the kitchen sink bottom floor beneath the cabinetry. The only access panel I did not pull attempting to find the leak. Yep, got to tired and sore from mopping up the floor.

The only 2 things that come immediately to mind is if you are not getting power to the level low switch that means none of the solenoid valves on your 4 valve manifold (5 valves on newer coaches) are receiving power to the coils and they are in-op. I would be concerned to the extent that I would want to be assured at the very least the 2nd valve down on the manifold is getting power when you are driving because that one controls the ride height and it is not safe to drive with that valve closed. If you have the means check to verify power is getting to the valve coil, key on. If not see if there is a way to at least jumper 24V power to the 2nd coil down. Look for tripped circuit breaker(s) or bad fuses. Likely in the front electric compartment.

The only other reason for nothing to work is if you are not getting any air pressure to the manifold. For the Norgren valves in the level low system to shift you need at least somewhere around 30 to 35 PSI.

We really wanted to go, but we had the flu and had to stay home. I am very glad you had a great rally and we wish we could have made it. I look forward to your next rally.

    Thank you;

I would suggest you look at all coolant hoses, paying attention to suction side of water pump.

What might be the problem is a delaminated hose happening on inside wall ? Heat causes flex and allows the interior lining to limit coolant flow.

Someone might have removed the wire coil installed to prevent this or was just omitted along generator life. One way to test my suggestion is installing wire coil on suction side, then run gen. If problem disappears then replace.

I read Mikee’s 2 posts…. good ideas as usual. I’ll add one thing. Could t-stat been installed upside down ? Don’t laugh too loud…I’ve seen it, trust me.

during my shopping I was unable to get prior history from liberty on my bus – it’s all to do with client confidentiality. With owner consent you should be able to the history during thier ownership.

I’ve not noticed a problem with the transmission but if there is one how would I know? I have no source of comparison. Maybe I’m making a big deal over nothing because they didn’t mention it again. I also understand this is a process but I’m with you Jon! Why didn’t they have the computer before I got there, that cost me a full day?

I hope to get a call today saying it’s fixed and come get it… Am I a dreamer or what? Jon’s even being nice to me and we all know that can’t end well!
