On a Lighter Note
With all the hoopla lately, I thought I would lighten the load at my expense.
We’re at our favorite Campground just 8 miles from our previous home in GA, Sweetwater Corp of Engineers in Canton, GA. They only have one site that fits our needs, a double site with 50 amp, sewer and water. This is the only site out of 151 with full hookup, easy in no tree issues and all paved.
So yesterday I decide to dump, hook everything up and hit the button to drop about 50 gallon of Jon’s garden material. WOOOO, you know the pressure of 50 gallons of Jon’s favorite material out of a 4″ hose and whamo, it’s the fountain at Ceasers Palace. Shoes soaked, ankles with a brown substance and the fastest button push to close the valve in human history. You get the picture.
The septic tank for the double site was full causing the no dumpy. Good camper as I am, I used bleach to hose off the mess and clean up. Corp of Engineer dude came by this morning, looked in the septic pipe and say’s “yep, shitters full” we’ll get er pumped. Since there was a hazmat concern, I gave the guy’s Jeff’s ETLC business card, 2 ETLC pens and some note pads. He really liked that……
So if you’re last couple days were stressful, you weren’t in my shoes that are now soaking in a bucket of Dawn, thankful they were deck shoes. I don’t have a Liberty, so have to reuse the shoes.
