  • On a Lighter Note

Posted by Archived on June 12, 2017 at 5:45 pm

With all the hoopla lately, I thought I would lighten the load at my expense.

We’re at our favorite Campground just 8 miles from our previous home in GA, Sweetwater Corp of Engineers in Canton, GA. They only have one site that fits our needs, a double site with 50 amp, sewer and water. This is the only site out of 151 with full hookup, easy in no tree issues and all paved.

So yesterday I decide to dump, hook everything up and hit the button to drop about 50 gallon of Jon’s garden material. WOOOO, you know the pressure of 50 gallons of Jon’s favorite material out of a 4″ hose and whamo, it’s the fountain at Ceasers Palace. Shoes soaked, ankles with a brown substance and the fastest button push to close the valve in human history. You get the picture.

The septic tank for the double site was full causing the no dumpy. Good camper as I am, I used bleach to hose off the mess and clean up. Corp of Engineer dude came by this morning, looked in the septic pipe and say’s “yep, shitters full” we’ll get er pumped. Since there was a hazmat concern, I gave the guy’s Jeff’s ETLC business card, 2 ETLC pens and some note pads. He really liked that……

So if you’re last couple days were stressful, you weren’t in my shoes that are now soaking in a bucket of Dawn, thankful they were deck shoes. I don’t have a Liberty, so have to reuse the shoes.

You tight ass, why don’t you just go to WalMart and get some new shoes instead of makeing Nancy clean your old shit*&$ shoes up.

I think we are getting some real insight here as to why there will be no slides in Nancy’s future.

If Tom is willing to re-use old deck shoes that were shit soaked instead of heading to Payless Shoes to get another pair for $30, it is now obvious to me he will not spend a penny to get slides. Poor Nancy.

Or it could be that Tom is just too full of shit….either way, it is a problem.

Jon, that $300 comes out of Nancy’s slide fund and so do all the other bus expenses, fuel, camp ground fees, washes and waxes, new Lifelines, service at ETLC etc etc. So really, there want be any slides.

How did you get 2, two, TWO ETLC pens to give away? I have written that company several checks with numerous zeros in the total as well as given them a lot of green pieces of paper with president’s pictures on them and did not even get one (free?) pen. Buddy is still not receiving a paycheck, even with the added duties and I am willing to bet that he doesn’t even have one (free?) pen.

As far as the stuff on the shoes … since you are so full of it Tom, it had to go somewhere.

I always dump in my bare feet. Then all I need to use to clean up is a nail file.

They went through all that work just to pump the holding tank? Or did you put a couple of big ones in the tank they couldn’t pull back out and they had to cut the top off the tank to get them out?
