Antifreeze leak inside and outside Coach
Left Nashville this morning. Currently at a rest stop in Indiana, 40 mile south of Indianapolis. The leaks is now inside. it was only outside 100 miles ago. Already shut off the valves for the webasto loop and a valve that likely goes to the two fresh water heaters. There is antifreeze dripping into the lower box beneath the driver while the upper electrical remains dry. Opened the front bumber and it looked like Niagra Falls.
I have opened each access panel from the front toe kick, also full of antifreeze, the access to under the kitchen cabinets, also full of antifreeze, the box behind the toilet,dry. None of which have any valves in them. There is a copper pipe, not polished, that I suspect may be where the problem could be found if only I could find another shut off valve!.
So if anyone out there in cyber space has encountered this phenominum before please advise of the place to look next for some shut off of an antifreeze loop from the engine.

If you haven’t received help I would put this under urgent help. The gurus probably get an alert of some sort.

between rad and bulkhead reach in should be two gate valves to shut /coolant off past the engine. Open rad door left side toward front 2,valves return and supply . Will isolate engine from rest of coach.
must reach in. will not affect engine.

If it’s above the floor it pretty much has to be a heat exchanger and I can’t imagine the coolant loop not having a shut off in the engine bay or where the Webasto is located. The other source I can think of is the dash area for the heater core, but again, that must have a shut off as well. Sorry, I’m not familiar enough with your vintage to help much. -
Sorry Tom, I had forgotten about the gate valves in the back. I should have offered that as advice instead of posting to urgent thread. It looks like Robert pointed him in the right direction to get it isolated.

I don’t have a clue. However this morning I’ll be looking at the inside roof of all bays to see if one or more are there. Still at the overnight truck area. Calling a shop recommended by Prevost 24/7 this morning at 8:00 AM. I will post the findings and resolution.

You should have two lines going to webasco. simply remove from it and connect them together. Found this under CC roadside repair . Then when you get time use air in websco loop to find leaks and repair. Also has your fresh water been effected/drained? that would indicate a interior leak in hot water heat/exchanger.

Don’t forget the front behind the bumper up high where the coolant lines are located for the dash heater core, likely shut offs located there. Also, assuming you have heated hot water from the engine, there will be 2 valves there as well and that may shut off the coolant flow to the coach heat exchangers depending on how it’s plumbed.

We have called three shops before finding one that can look at isolating the coach systems from the engine coolant loops. Unfortunately they can’t look at it until tomorrowand we can’t stay in the coach overnight. e are calling for the tow now. Updates tomorrow.

.Connecting the supply and delivery to webasco won’t work. must disable both supply and return. Still trying to wake brain up. Check inside drivers side 2nd door in front of rear axle. roof

front bumper compartment curb side. about 2 ft in? two places there that have rubber hoses. I feel helpless so far away. You should have got fruit fritters!!

Bob, I turned on the electric hot water heaters. Carole took a shower and said there was plenty of hot water to suit her. The hot water tanks have a loop from the engine that heats the domestic water while in transit. The Atwood tanks also have the standard electric element to heat the domestic water while hooked up toshore power or on generator. The generator has no connection at all with the engine coolant system. The Webasto and the Heat Exchangers do. This morning the only dripping outside is from the Black/Grey water bay, fourth one back on drivers side. I have not removed the covering panel over the hot water heaters but that is where I am begining to focus in as being one point of the problem.
