Possible Buyers Education
If I have the VIN of a XLII coach that
I am considering buying and I call Prevost service will they tell me
if that coach has been checked previously for leaks and
delamination.? -

I have heard they will not give out service info with out previous owner consent.
Don’t know about one for sale that a dealer might have.
Try it and see.

during my shopping I was unable to get prior history from liberty on my bus – it’s all to do with client confidentiality. With owner consent you should be able to the history during thier ownership.

To get a Prevost summary of a coach I have had to fax a copy of the title or registration with my name on it to Prevost.
I got a spread sheet showing the service events, but not the detail, from Prevost on a spread sheet. I think Prevost and the converters withhold the previous owner names, addresses and phone numbers that would be on the work orders to maintain privacy.

If you have a particular coach in mind you might want to share the coach details on here as there’s a lot of folks here familiar with so many coaches… You might get some answers…Happy shopping… it’s a lot of fun.
