I would rather eat bees than stick a plastic shield on my coach.
In the by-laws that Liberty owners are obligated to honor it states clearly we are not allowed to deface our coaches with cow catchers or plastic shields. Besides, they are as big a pain in the butt as a bra. Maybe even more so because over time they have to be polished.
Just curious………..if they are so good, how come I keep getting offers for them…….FOR FREE.

The late model XL coaches used a single sheet of aluminum for roofing and the only seams are at the front and rear caps. I have not ever found any leaking at those seams, but my 97 had a leak at one of the roof penetrations. That leak was at an antenna and easily fixed with a clear sealant. Gerald is exactly right in that if the OTR fresh air baffle is open and the restrictor cap is removed the coach will be pressurized and a little soapy water will show all leaks, including windows and the door easily.
Some coaches have the OTR fresh air intake sealed, but usually the cap can be removed.
For those with XLII coaches with OTR it is very easy to test for skin delamination also using this method.

I would not engage a repair tech that does not have a test box. Without it, one could spend a lot of time and money without solving the problem.

It will be 17 degrees tomorrow am in South Louisiana (5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico) so i need to think about Florida!!! When it get’s this cold here they usually call out the National Guard as a state of emergency!!! Has not been this cold here in 15 years….. but then again, it is all to blame on “global warming.”

Look at the fuel savings this way………it is the equivalent to getting a free Happy Meal with every fill up.

Coolant hose is not suggested to use in this application.
Appears to be heavy duty thread type hose commonlly used in marine service, not seeing any wire on your hose.
Custom hose made be heating in very hot water until they matched the large outside diameter probably on the bench. Finding a piece of pipe same size to act as a form on your bench.
If the end difference is 1/4—3/8 inch inside diameter thread hose can be easily stretched.
In this type of hose service. We have done this on many marine applications. The thinking… LESS connections and clamps the better.
Custom hose built because it’s easy, less expense. Your hose appears to short to use a copper metal reducer sleeve.

Jon: There are OTR outlet vents on the drivers side in the bedroom below the vanity mirror.
so yes it is both sides and front and rear. Just not both all the way from front to rear. .
