  • George Straitsfinal concert

Posted by Dean on December 17, 2013 at 7:18 pm

So, for any big country music fans out there you may already know that George Straits final big concert is June 7, 2014 at AT&T (Dallas Cowboy) Stadium. There will be a dozen special guests like Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Sheryl Crow and Faith Hill. I was able to get tickets last week and a parking pass for the bus. It should be a blast. With the bus pass you can arrive up to 48 hours before the show and stay up to 24 hours after. Let me know if any of the rest of you would happen to be going.

    Dean,

We will be attending. We live in Dallas and never gave thought to bringing the bus but it sounds like that might be fun. We attended his concert their when the stadium first opened. There was quite the party going on all around the venue.

Through what outlet did you acquire the bus parking passes?which lot are you in? What was your cost?

    and info would be appreciated.

I’ve been searching for info on the bus pass….not having any luck. Can you shed any light on how we can get one?

    Thanks,

    Jill

For a parking pass for your RV go to this website: http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/

Click on “Directions and parking”, then click on “Bus individual game parking”. Scroll down to “Purchase George Strait, June 7, 2014”.

On the next page select 1 for your bus then choose RV (lot 14) then click on find seats in the bottom right hand corner.

The bus pass is $150 but you can arrive 48 hours prior and stay for 24 hours after the event. You dont have to buy a seperate pass for the toad if you are willing to park it in your bus space during the concert itself. The spaces are 20′ x 40′ so you should be able to get it next to your bus if you dont have a slide out. Prior to the actual event and following the event (empty parking lot) you can park your toad in a nearby car space.

    I am in lot 14 space 5.

Well getting a spot for the bus was easy, not so easy getting good seats though.

Tried all morning to find something decent and reasonably priced. It appears those two don’t go together.

Hopefully I’ll turn something up, or maybe they’ll simulcast it so we can watch it from the parking lot.

I will be there. Slot 1 Lot 14.

Seat 23, but I don’t understand what is meant by seat 23.

At the price of these tickets, I may not attend the concert, just stay in the parking lot and party or something.

Bought the parking space before I ckecked the price of the tickets, mistake #1.

You are correct. The seat# is your space #. I bought our tickets for the concert from stub hub. We are in section 335 I believe. Its on the 45 yard line in the third tier. I’ll bring the binoculars. I paid almost $1200 for 2 tickets by the time they added their fee. Crazy I know but I haven’t been to a concert in years and this should be a great one. Besides that my wife almost peed her pants when I told her so it was money well spent. We will definitely have to get together in the parking lot.

    You r correct.

    Lot 14

    Row 1

    Seat (space) 23

I would like to go and see who buys the seats from Row 1 to say row 25.

I’m being foolishly optimistic that prices might come down once the big ticket brokers are unsuccessful in peddling their tickets at the prices listed at present. Time will tell. If not I’ll have a great RV spot for barter
