Glad to help Roger, I had seen that before where the valve stem had the slightest imperfection or nick and allowed the PP to leak very slow.

We found that removing fuse #38 on the driver’s side fuse panel will disable the steering wheel lock. Have not yet found anything adverse from removing the fuse. Not yet sure if that action makes disconnecting the battery unnecessary.

Did they have to remove your engine?

We are shocked, stunned, speachless, and terribly saddened. We met Peter at Jeff’s shortly after buying our coach and he was extremely helpful to me in understanding our coach. I watched him teach Josh (and maybe Danno?) to replace our water pump and fix a leaking axle seal. I could see he was a great teacher. He will be sorely missed.

Thanks for the kind words on the Newell video. For the slides-in portion, I did that in time lapse at the 8:10 mark of the video. Here’s a screen grab of the slides in on that Newell.

After spending time at both the Prevost and Super Shows, I stopped by and met the folks at Florida Coach yesterday and toured the facilities in Kissimmee. Let me say this…It’s impressive and the coaches feature top tier interiors. Since I’m seeking a bunk model, they have rapidly appeared on my short list. They have a unique automatic bunk which converts from a one to a two or three bunk with a press of a button. And yes, when the slides are in, unlike the Newell pictured above, it’s very roomy.
The exact coach advertised was getting service at Prevost and when it returns I’ll most likely be scheduling a return visit. I did see a twin to that bus and it captured my interest.
Even more impressive than the bus is the facilities and I can see why they have built multiple coaches for Willie.
Since I’m far from an expert, I welcome input on the systems (link in first post of this thread) and how they differ from other, non-entertainer Prevost conversions. Yes, I’m asking for help!

Check the pressure switch in the steering bay, it may be a black box in color , it may be bad

There is a air shutter located under the burner case. It is secured with one phillips head screw. In higher altitude conditions it can be opened to admit more air to address a smoking issue that was not present at lower altitudes.
Pushing the loosened screw toward the heat exchanger opens the shutter. Pulling the screw away from the heat exchanger closes the shutter. Setting it half way seems to work a most altitudes. You can not get to much air but you can get to little.
Have not seen the exhaust in the dark so can not comment on seeing a flame in the exhaust gases. If the exhaust gas is so rich it can support a flame, I would not run the burner till it had been serviced. The 50,000 or 80,000 BTU flame should not extend outside of the combustion chamber.

So sorry to hear that , hope you get well Phil we are thinking of you and family

The keyless lock system on this coach is not the same system that is on most everyone elses coach….I am not sure if your coach falls into it however there was a wiring update that was being done….I do not remember the conditions of this so am not sure if this is the same issue…

I was one of the first, if not the first, customer of Jeff’s
new Michelin dealership and it was effortless on my part. I changed out the steers and tags even though
the tags were only 4 years old, so that I could change out the drives next year
and start a 4 one year and 4 another year cycle, easing the impact on the old
bank account. This was a month ago and
they have rolled over a thousand miles, smooth as glass. As far as Jeff’s expert goes, hide the women as his expert
has muscles in places that I am not sure I even have places. He throws those 315s around like they were
donuts at a Cop’s convention, they just disappear from the pile and are found
on your wheels. He is that fast. Air pressure was exact, not a pound
different.Great job. Great
dealership and I might add, a great oil change along with a few other odds and
ends like break chambers, coolant change, generator service, front dog bone
bushings, air dryer, fuel filters and some other stuff just to keep the boys
busy.Thanks Jeff. See you
in April for the drives and a few other odds and ends. -
I did a bunch of homework and talked with multiple Prevost specialists about upgrading my A/V system including 4 smart TVs. In the end, I went with Jeff at ETLC for numerous reasons. I’ll be dropping my coach off this Monday. I look forward to having iPads or my iPhone being able to control and monitor my coach.

It was good to see you Tim. We’re at Glacier NP now heading to N. Idaho in a couple of weeks. We plan to go to Clawfest but keep forgetting to contact George. We’ll be staying again at Pelican but are terrified of the RV show they put on at the end of Jan. The last time we went we bought this bus.

Hi Bill…
We like to stay in Custer, SD when we’re in the area. And it’s one of our favorites. Custer is about 30 – 40 min from Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse, depending on your route…the Needles Highway is fantastic, & we like to spend time in Custer State Park – large buffalo herd & wild burros that beg for handouts along side the road – and sometimes in the road. We like to stay a little off the beaten path at an RV/horse campground outside of Custer called Broken Arrow. Fair warning though…to enter the CG you go about a half mile on a gravel road, but in our opinion, worth it, and the owners are really nice folks. Custer also has some other attractions…Jewel Cave, a really neat wood carver museum, the Purple Pie Place (great pies & ice cream), and in the fall they have the Buffalo Roundup. They roundup the herd and cull the sick & old, vaccinate the calfs, and maintain the herd population so that overgrazing isn’t a problem in the park the follwing year. About the only place in the US that you can get some idea of what the huge herds used to look, feel, and sound like as they drive the herd toward the pens. We went last year & plan to go back again at some point.
Where ever you decide to stay, plenty to see & do. Hope you enjoy the area as much as we have.
Almost forgot…make sure you eat at the Alpine Inn in Hill City. Really great German fare. You need to go early…it fills up very quickly!!
