When changing the air dryer filter (location in front of drive tires) will the system lose air and lower the bus from ride height ?

When I am on the road such as a long trip west, I pick rest areas by looking at them on Google. I pick those that allow me to get an end spot so the slides can come out. I ALWAYS stop driving early so I get the pick of sites in an empty rest area. Far less potential for problems than Walmart or Cracker Barrel. If a RV park is right at an interstate exit it moves to the top of my list. But I will not drive out of my way to get in an RV park just so I have a place to sleep.

If I have to be between trucks in a rest area I will not stop. Too much risk of another truck coming in and scraping my coach which is why I pick end spots. That reduces the risk by 50%.

No truck stops for me unless I am really hard up or there is a really good protected spot.

Not a single one of the tire pressures cited above is correct for your coach unless you have weighed each axle and verified it on the charts. But the pressures listed above are all going to help you understand there are variences and those variations are based on the differing axle weights.

Thanks Jeff. No, I am not intending to go about the conversion myself as I am certainly not qualified. But for layout purposes, and potentially to be able to speak to Liberty/etc about it, I’d like to do some layout beforehand. I did find a 3D sketchup model of a newer prevost model with slides, but figured someone here might know a program or resource to use.

Separately, is there a person (private individual) who does conversions on a one-on-one basis that is respected in the community? If there is a MacGyver type for this work, I’d love to know who it is. Thanks!

Hey guys, thanks for the fellowship the afternoon of the 21st. I hope we did not wake anyone when we pulled out this morning. We will be sorry to miss the official start of the no rally but it appears as though your turn-out will be a good one just from those getting there the day before.

Actually, there is a benefit to being initially located where the photos show.

We will be dry camping but with full 50 amp power at the planned location. So on Tuesday arrive with full water and an empty holding tank. Gray water by-pass is OK. So when moving over from the grassy areas shown you can go by the water and dump stations.

The tank is the accumulator tank and I also had a leak in the sight glass fitting on my 97 coach.

I did not need soapy water because I could see the trace of refrigerant oil on the accumulator indicating a leak. Because after cleaning the oil trace did not show up any time soon I ignored it. I think in the 8.25 years we had that coach I might have added about 2 or 3 pounds of 134A so with a leak that small freon was cheaper than the repair.

Brian, Here from American Fleet. Can I ask you the name of the company that produced your wood floors? I am thinking about putting in wood flooring in my home and I like the look and variance in the floors of your coach.

Ronald, thanks for sticking up for NE. Will definitely stay in our plans. We may even be travelling there pre-bus so will be keeping our eyes open not just for the sights, but also on the roads and camping opportunities.
