  • Resource & Friend

While having an issue with my Wabasto this past week I had the good fortune to meet Rudy Legett in the Houston area. We rendezvoused off I-10 for an assessment of our problem. Rudy quickly demonstrated his knowledge and skills which was only exceeded by his most pleasant deameanor. For those of us in the deep gulf south and all others traveling through, rest assured you have a valuable resource in Rudy. Don’t be too surprised if you wind up with an offer to use the hookups at his beautiful property as well. Thanks Rudy for being a friend of PC!

Good to hear as I need to get over that way and have Rudy look at mine. About 120 miles west of Houston off I10.

Rudy, Do you guys only work on Aquahot systems or do you work on Webasto systems too?

    Tim,

Becasue the burner in the Aqua Hot system is a 12 vdc 50k btu Webasto Burner, I can work on both of them. I currently stock parts for 12 vdc 50k btu burners. Can order parts for 24 vdc burners. Have nozzles for 80k btu burners on order.

I have several current Webasto Heat exchanger equipped Prevost customers. I would be very happy to add you to that group and thanks a bunch for asking.

Come now folks, I am running out of checks to pay for all this praise. Plus such high praise from Diane is above my paygrade. Thanks giant bunches for the compliments.

This group of members has provided some cherished new friends and many enjoyable visits while working on the burner. Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of this special group, that means Tom and Jon too. Ain’t it great!

See as many of you as I can at Oysterfest, can hardly wait for April.

Please allow me to add more Thanks to and for Rudy. Rudy is a tremendous resource of knowledge and good will. Our AquaHot died and we’re presently in cold country. Rudy has been an invalable resouce helping to troubleshoot over the phone and even got on the phone with AquaHot trained techcians trying to get our machine running. Rudy told these guys troubleshooting steps they never covered at the factory school.

Thank You Rudy for your help and kindness! I replaced the ignition coil this morning and the AquaHot has run all day with no issues. Given the interrmitant failures I’m reluctant to call the problem resolved, but we’re very close.

Rudy is so good at fixing AquaHot’s that he’s fixed ours twice and he has yet to see or touch it.

    Thanks again Rudy!

That Cat is pretty good fixing problems over the phone though Osmosis. Wonder if he also does stunning card tricks. See you in a week or two Rudy.
