Thanks Buddy for your comments. If the interest is there we do want to repeat the seminar, but right now the only time we see as making sense is sometime in October.
The success of the seminar was due to the PC members attending. Tom, Jeff and I know the interest level and the questions asked made the entire weekend helpful to everyone attending. Actually we benefit here as well on the forum when folks ask questions and others are willing to share knowledge and experiences.
Before the next seminar we will refine it based on feedback we have gotten.
Let me be very clear that I not only like my flip phone I have no intention of replacing it with a smart phone any time soon.

Bob:
For what it’s worth, on my ’87XL, 102″ wide, the rear bumper center section is 74″. It has rather long corner pieces, with 2 small holes in the end which wraps around the side of the bus, as well as whatever bolts them on and to the center section. I should have taken pix.
The front bumper, center section, is longer: 82-3/4″, with shorter corner pieces with no holes other than for 2 carriage bolts which attach them to the center section.
Due to the difference in years, yours is probably waaaay different. Good luck.
Ted.

Dick, I am in that process right now. Drained oil, put new oil in compressor and pulled vacuum on system. Dealing with a condenser fan electrical issue right now but will keep you posted on outcome!

You’re right Bob! Traced wires from solenoid to junction bar and from there I have no idea where they go! It has to be where it switches to connect power at relay!

Sorry, for adding the X to the title. Nobody could access it until I gave it a title.
To answer your question I have to ask a question. Whose slide? Different slides have different configurations. A Prevost slide will go over the top of carpet. If you are redong the carpet or flooring however it can go under only as far as the installer can slide it unless you remove the entire slide room.

I don’t know how they correspond, but absent an answer unplug them one at a time and see which A/C isn’t working or displaying. Like you I believe life would be so much easier if things were labeled with full descriptions, and that includes everything from electric terminals, fuses, circuit breakers, air hoses, etc.

Hish,
I have to run my Driver temp on 67-68, and my pass temp on 75-77 (still cold in the back) just to keep my wife from freezing. And then, she still equips herself with socks, and a blanket just in case.
I’ve never understood why you can’t operate them separately, but they way I understand it is, the system will not operate unless driver and pass are both on.
The system is designed to keep 55 hot bodies cool, and there is sooo much air flow in the back, it’s like a whirlwind in the back.
I love it!!

Chris,
please keep us informed. I’m having trouble with coolant in my bus, coolant low but can’t find where it’s going.

I’m not saying the leak is OK or acceptable but would like to pin down the possibility of it affecting or not affecting the systems in the coach.
I am trying to remember how my previous coach was set up and I think your coach has the governor at the compressor. The reason for my brain heading in that direction is to see if it is associated with the signal line or the governor for example.

Songman,
So, you have a curb-side only fill? Do you fuel with the satelite pump only? Or, do you go in backwards?
I’ve heard of some folks will go in the ‘opposite’ direction at the truck stops to fill their DEF tanks as the early ones were on the passenger side.
Safe travels,
Mark

I think Tom used the wrong word. That battery did not give up, it blew up.
Typically when you see that much damage a battery has been over charged. Over charged meaning the charging current being applied is greater than what the battery can accept.
AGM and gel cell batteries show that condition first by slight bulging of the sides of the case, followed by a popping of the pressure release, venting the excess pressure. When that point has been reached the battery is ruined. While our gauges do help us monitor the charge going into our batteries, from time to time it does not hurt to get the actual voltages with an accurate voltmeter or a multi-tester.
What causes over charging? A bad voltage regulator, an inverter programmed wrong or failing, or any condition that causes the alternator to produce voltage beyond the setting specified by Prevost or the converter.

Unfortunately Liberty Harbor is booked. It was my first choice and I am concerned about parks that wont really accomodate a 45 foot motorhome. Any other suggestions? We are going to be there for three days next week (Wed, Thurs, Fri).

OK, I now have a case of Spam and I am trying to figure out how to prepare it for our Thanksgiving dinner.
Thank you, I think.
What is the meaning of the case of spam?

Great, hope it all turns out.
I have wondered about the Dura Brite wheels and was wondering if Prevost is using them now.
