  • Paint Repair – Satisfaction

Posted by tom on June 4, 2015 at 8:38 am

Just wanted to let PC folks know of what great service Xtreme Paint and Graphics in Nacgodoches, TX provides.

We had a small paint bubble next to where our delam repair was completed. Prevost Ft. Worth recommended we take the bus back to the spot where the delam paint was completed. It’s just north of Dallas near Denton. Bad experience from the time we drove in, to lack of customer service to down right mean. Net/Net we left without any repair.

Called Xtreme in Nacgodoches, he said come right over and we will fix you up. 3 hours down the road and within an hour of arrival, fix was determined, and started. Then the wait game… We had to wait for marathon to provide the paint specs for the marbling. A day later we find out Marathon did not have that information. Extreme matched it perfectly.

Also, found out that Prevost Ft. Worth is now using Xtreme Paint & Graphics as their go to paint repair specialists.

    Tom,

thats really nice to hear yet again. We’ve heard nothing but great things about Extreme Paint. We have a dinner plate size blister probably caused by moisture freezing under the paint when we’re back in NE Arctic Ohio in February with temps -13 F. Our bus’ re-paint job is 17 years old.

    Jim,

Make the trip to Nac! They also have an apartment for you to stay in if you need it and pets are welcome!

And their rates are very very reasonable! Much much much less than the Denton, TX area people.

James is a fine man and his work has been reported often as being excellent. He not only does paint work, but will do collision repair work also.

    Jon,

Agree! Plus he is just an all around nice guy and understands customer service! His whole team has been more than stellar!

We have used James in the past on our Foretravel with the same great results and same great service!

I will be there Monday for a little repair to my plastic, I mean fiberglass, underbelly around the utility access door.

They have been getting my money for years, always more than satisfied with the over the top work and service. Great folks all around.

    Tom,

You can count on me mentioning his good press here. I have known James for some years and will visit with him several times while we are there.

James did my delam repair paint because Ft. Worth Prevost had stopped using the shop in Denton. My good luck. James and his staff were great to deal with and did a wonderful job. They even did some touch ups that had nothing to do with the delam project just to make the coach right.Great job and very user friendly ! They even have a nice facility in their building for overnights if needed.

During the “know your Prevost” seminar, I was asked to publish the name of the location where the BAD service we experienced during our attempt at a paint repair. The BAD service center was North Texas RV Repair in Denton, TX. I would discourage any PC member from using this service center.

Prevost Ft. Worth no longer uses them for their paint repair. All Prevost Ft. Worth paint repair is being sent to James Stallings at Xtreme paint & graphics.

Just another plug for Xtreme, they did an outstanding job and they will be our go to vendor for all of our paint repair in the future. Xtreme is just about 3 hours east of Dallas.

    Tom & Bill,

Thank you for posting the name of the shop whom your recieved the BAD service from. You being willing to do that will save one of our unknowing members running into the same. And if the BAD company is lucky someone will tell them about this post and allow them to think twice about how they run their business and save it from eventual dimise.

I as a business owner welcome customers compaining, to me it is a gift most of the time to give me another chance and to make us be a better company. If they don’t complain……… I would bet they are gone and I will never hear from them again.

    Tom,

Thanks for the heads up. Any members that might need paint work or repairs should note who to avoid, and please give James of Extreme an opportunity to handle you paint and repair work. We have had nothing but good reports about James.

    Tom,

When we owned our 04 U320 Foretravel we used Xtreme a couple of times and was very satisified with the results. One of the visits required fiberglas work and they did a great job.
