You have only the twos A/C temperature settings, one for the driver’s air on the left, and one for the coach on the right. They are independent of one another. There are no other thermostats for OTR.

Thanks Jon I didn’t find any others, maybe there should be one so the others in the coach do not freez.

My old coach (1991) has controls/knobs to adjust temp for heat and air on lower dash right of driver for driver and back cab area. Would think newer ones have that also. Play with it and see. Took me awhile to figure it out even after reading operators manual.

Hish, I don’t know how your coach is set up, but when I am driving I can set my temps and if that is not comfortable for the rest of the coach I can push the button on the right and make the whole coach A/C temps go up or down.

If my wife is uncomfortable in the passenger seat she has the option of opening or closing the various A/C vents around her seat. Why would you need a second thermostat to adjust when you have the one next to your right knee? Are you suggesting you create more zones?

    Jon

I can adjust the temp on both the right and left controls but the temp in the back of the coach is so cold. You would think Prevost would install a thermocouple to also control the back of the house in addition to the front.

A 2ed stat can be set before start at a comfortable temp which would add another zone.

For the money Prevost is charging for these coaches it would be a very small amount.

Maybe I am wrong but for this class of coach there should be a fix????

Hish, why not just keep adjusting the RH temp until you find the setting that keeps it comfortable in the house portion of the coach? I don’t adjust mine any more now that I know the temp setting that keeps the coach comfortable.

    Hish,

My 01 Liberty had the same problem prior to me buying it. The previous owner had to have it worked on at Prevost on two occasions, the temp sensor wherever it was located failed twice causing the digital temp gauge +/- on the panel to be useless.

    Hish,

I have to run my Driver temp on 67-68, and my pass temp on 75-77 (still cold in the back) just to keep my wife from freezing. And then, she still equips herself with socks, and a blanket just in case.

I’ve never understood why you can’t operate them separately, but they way I understand it is, the system will not operate unless driver and pass are both on.

The system is designed to keep 55 hot bodies cool, and there is sooo much air flow in the back, it’s like a whirlwind in the back.

    I love it!!

Jerry it is great in the southwest but it is still too cold. If you have to go the water closet you better be ready to get cooled down.

Tom the benefits of haveing a Liberty Coach “stay cool with OTR”.

    Hish
