On my Liberty coaches there was a dash mounted rocker switch and one position was for the electric horn and the other position was for air horns. Without looking I think the symbol on it looked like a bugle.

It has to be loud to drown out the complaints from passengers about it being too hot in the coach.

If that doesn’t start the battle about coaches, OTR, conversions, etc. nothing will.

The Bella Terra no-rally-rally was so much fun. It was great seeing different conversions of all years. And, it’s always nice to meet new folks!

Mike, see what happens when you try to compare your coach to a Prevost………

This is a tough crowd with strong opinions about their coaches. From my extremely limited experience with a motorhome (a high end brand I will not name) all I can say is there is no comparison when it comes to driving. That is not surprising because the basis for our conversions is a chassis built for commercial service robust enough to deliver a million miles of service or more. It is more than an engine, air bags or slides, but is a highly refined assembly of structure and systems that when properly maintained is a true joy to drive and use.

Every time we start talking about a member list or anything involving member information it never goes anywhere. So here’s my brain dump for the day..

We use the PC Map and create a new category such as Med Help and use one of the blue medical icons for the map. All you would have to do is click on the Med Help drop down topic and instantly see everyone in the U S and Canada that has provided their information.

When I bought my 91 XL (755CR) a few years back it had been sitting for about 7 years with 50,000 miles on it. First thing I did is drive to Prevost Ft Worth and have all fluids changed including trans with Synthetic Trans Fluid. Don’t know if it hurts to open them up if you know what you’re doing. Don’t have a heat gauge on my 91 XL. Seems like mine runs about the same rpm’s and mph. Good luck.

I feel your pain.

If you had showed up at Prevost for that job then probably that labor charge would be in-line. Taking into account the process to do only drag link replacements.

Finding a problem while inspecting prior to alignment is necessary to correctly assure all suspension components are sound I believe reflects an accurate alignment.

Had the drag link ends not been replaced the accurate alignment would have never happened.

I think your labor rate should reflect only the time it took to R&R drag link ends.

This is only my opinion ….I was not there to watch.

Truk, I’m not sure a tear in BA’s eye but I suspect ME’s eye! We had dinner with them a couple of weekends ago and the first words out of ME’s mouth were, “ready to sell it back yet?”….

16 batteries? I don’t know, maybe golf cart batteries where
2 required to provide 12 volts.

The description said the engine is from it from a H340 so
that should be a 12.7 Series 60. I
measured every way I could think of and I don’t think a six speed Allison will
fit behind a Series 60 in a 40 foot XL that had an 8V92 because the tag axle is
under the transmission. Since the description says the engine is from a 1993
H340 I don’t think six speed Allison’s were available at that time. I’m guessing
his transmission is a HT 740 or 750 . They are much smaller and might work with
the older axle configuration.

The woman was able to get a couple they know from Billings to drive out and help her get back to Minnesota with the RV and toad. It was very nice of the several PC members to offer help.

It would be a great PC membership benefit to initiate an owner pairing program to cover emergencies similar to the gentleman agreement between Al and Tom.

Mine over flows everytime I fill, even after Prevost told me how to make a cage type afair to hold the filler hose flap open. Nothing seems to help.

I have that product on the front of my coach and it has significant crazing, crow-footing, cracking, fracturing or whatever you want to call it. It looks like crap!!! I bought some chemical I had high hopes for, but, alas….no joy in mudville.

I suppose the only choice I’m gonna end up with is to have it removed with my checkbook. It is not 3-M, but a product Marathon used back in the golden era of Y2K when mine was built…and, guess what, that company is now out of business. I would love to get this stuff off…it is the single most detracting feature of my motorhome and I don’ like it.

Thought Jeff or some of you guys will have some thoughts on it when we have the seminar in July….ty
