I don’t believe the Marathon house side will light the balance dash light. On my Marathon, the house 12/24 voltages are displayed by the Techlink.

Bill – You are talking about the dash light, correct?

One good thing has come out of this rally. In front of witnesses Nancy has made it clear she wants slides. Seeing Al’s beautiful coach among others has gotten her to open up about her true feelings so now Truk can not post any lies about how Nancy does not want slides,

He now just needs a little nudge to push him in the right direction. I understand she is riding back home after the event in Al’s coach to see how she likes to ride in a slide coach.

That creaking sound is not only Truk’s bones, but his wallet being pried open to see if he has collected enough dues money to buy Nancy the coach she wants.

    Stay tuned.

Dick, I did pick up your number off an earlier post so I will call you later. Right now I have the local fire dept gonna put a 24V charger on it and see if it will boost batteries to crank and then a local travel company that runs 48 Prevost is gonna check it out.

As I understand, I may have a chassis charger but it only works well on being plugged to shore power and not so well on the generator?

I am so impressed with this sight and all of the instant help that is available; a friend of mine actually called at 7:30 AM this morning after seeing my post to offer help.

Thanks everyone and will post results

Take pictures of your valve extension supports. I thought the jury concluded valve extensions were an unacceptable risk so I am curious what has changed!

I have struggled with the decision to use the Pressure Pro system which is installed on my coach versus removing same and have double seal valve caps installed and manually monitoring air pressure. Don’t get me wrong I see the advantages of pressure pro but when I was travelling across the states some of the sensors were not tight on the stems and I lost air along the way until I tightened the sensors….my bad! I read Jons earlier posts on this subject and wonder what changed his mind. I assume the risks of using the pressure pro system due to possible air loss and improper seal at the valve ends is very low….and it is up to the operator to check the sensors are on tight as part of the pre trip inspection.

    Jon,

After reviewing pictures, Americian Fleet feels they need to pull the engine. They will confirm next week but I am going in with the understanding that is the deal and it’s a 2-3 process.

I just had the coolant changed to extended when I blew the lower hose last year. They Indicated they have special containers and would just return my existing fluids when they put it all back.

CAC was done two years ago and break chambers are on my schedule for next year.

Is what you describe on the EGR the “ugly” fix or is that something different??

Update from my 10/16 post. Caredit Card charge came through. $ 1,015 total

There was no breakdown of tire vs service charge but all in all, about what I expected for “come to me” service. Michelin telephone rep was knowledgeable, they found a new exect replacement tire, and the service truck was there in 75 minutes. Having the Dupree Acct # opened the door

    Doug,

No, that number won’t do you any good. Like in my post to Sid, they will have a white round sticker or the side of the case will be branded if they’re older than 08.

    Charlie,

Here is a link for your information. It contains information on what geometric factors influence design turning radii. Forget it, I am unable to cut and paste a link here. Do a search of the internet for “Bus turning radius template. The end of the best link will be 2004 Green Book. Go there and spend some time reading and more importantly viewing the template drawings.

Well… the seat kept getting loose for some reason and I wanted a “soft close”. seat anyway.. so went on a search for and elonagated biscuit colored seat that would fit properly… and was dreading the changeout.

I bought the first one at Lowes “Church” brand but it was too short even though it was elongated the front of the seat was squared off not pointed like I needed, so I ended up at Morrison Supply and got a Biscuit colored Kohler seat that is a perfect fit and also changeable from the top in the future… it just snaps into the installed brackets once installed.

Installation was a piece of cake…. there is a trim piece on each side of the back of the toilet that you remove and with a special made tool to hold the bolts in place it was a simple job… no need to remove the toilet !! Long arms are a big help… my guru guy did it in 15 mins!! The access pieces made it possible…. so folks… Liberty didn’t screw things up with there installation after all.

The soft quiet close feature is really great too.

    Go Liberty !!!!

    Cheers, Diane

We’ve only been there once so far, but will make it back when we’re in the Ruidoso area again. We totally agree with Per…Jimmy and Lisa are some of the nicest folks you could meet…and as Truk said, they do have a very cherry Marathon.

Welcome to PC!! Hope you’ll be able to break free to make some of the get-togethers.
