    OK

Tried to stay out of this posting but..

I spend a lot of time in the Bahamas and there are quite a few private Islands (Over Yonder Cay, Highbourne Cay, Cat Cay to mention a few) that have spent a millions on solar panels and battery banks, only to find out they can stay solar only for about 20-30 percent of the time. As soon as the air conditioners start cranking in the summer, desalination plants are running and the restaurants start cooking the old faithful diesel generators have to go back on line. They also incinerate their own trash, but guess what: it takes diesel to heat the burner hot enough to incinerate efficiently. Bunny huggers just don’t want to face the fact that we are a long ways from eliminating fossil fuels.

My Prevost chassis is a 1995 XL40. The following from my mx logbook: https://secure5.volvo.com/technicalpublications/pdf/Sb96-14B.pdf

    Norgren 5 port/3 way K910058 = K81EA00KACKAC – https://www.norgren.com/us/en
    Norgren 3 port/2 way K910026 = K41EA00KS1KA2 – https://www.norgren.com/us/en
In the rear on the bulkhead just fwd of the drive axle, there are two, a left and a right, Norgren 5 port/3 way spool valves, Prevost # K910058 = Norgren# K81EA00KACKAC, then there are 3 more Norgrens on the inside of the frame rails above the tag axle. Their part #s depend on your buses tag logic/mod status, like SB96-14B or not.
    Your results may vary

M&G is awesome but fits less and less cars every year. I could not use it when I moved from my 2012 Liberty to a 2020 Cherokee.

Dick, just pull the 4 drawers out of the rear middle section dresser located under the closet. Then you will notice Liberty has engineered the cabinet center section and cross brace to be easily removed. Once those pieces are out of the way, you will find 6 bolts holding the aluminum covered, insulated cover down. BTW, the top large drawers lift off of the slides, the bottom drawers just pull out after reaching the slide stop. If you have additional questions I’ll be happy to help.

For access under the front I have bought 2 – 2X12X12 boards and had Home Depot cut them to 5′, 4′, 3′. Even with the bags deflated that gives me about 6 extra inches of height and more than enough room to get under safely.

Just nail them together (or screw) and dispose of after use. You can make bigger stronger ones out of wood as well by turning the boards on their side (2x6x12 requires 6 or 7 boards) and bolting the entire assembly together. Cut in half at a 45 degree (or so) and then drive the bus up the new ramp.

Thanks. I discovered that earlier today. I like the protection it gives. I’m staying with the shorter stems.

The bus should be at drive height if you have a quality air system. I just checked my height after two weeks and each side of rear has dropped 1/4 inch. I put a piece of painters tape on each rear corner and marked a line with a ruler.

Granted if bus sits for an extended period of time it may drop more than that.

My bus has all new airbags with compression fittings. New airlines to the bags and valves and numerous norgen valves.

If bus is depleted in air for ride height it should come to ride height in just a few minutes after your air systems reach full pressure.

Checking mirrors is a good idea as there is chance of them being bumped, set them before hitting the road.

Do you have a budget for your purchase? What specific floor plan items do you desire.

You looking for a 40 foot . 40 foot buses are hard to find if you have specific desires in floor plan. The extra 5 foot gives a lot more options in floor plan and comfort.
