  • A very rare coach hits the market!

Posted by Dick on April 12, 2021 at 5:07 pm

Someone posted the For Sale ad for this coach to two different Prevost orientated Facebook pages. It quickly caught my eye as a rarity in the Prevost World. Here is what people are saying about this coach on Facebook:

It’s a Jon Wehrenberg Liberty with lots of maintenance and upgrades by Jeff Rowe at East Tennessee Luxury Coach.

What more is there to say.

If I was looking for a late 90’s XLV and my wife liked the decor, I’d be all over this Coach. A Jon Wehrenberg coach is a collectors item. There are only three and Jon has one of them.

Being one of three Jon Wehrenberg Signature Series Coaches … it has upgrades and attention to detail found on no other coach. And it starts out with the best coach money could ever buy … a Liberty Coach.

If this coach was going across the block at Barrett-Jackson or the Mecum Auction … Craig Jackson or Dana Mecum would interrupt the bidding to extol the virtues of this coach and remind everyone that this is one of only three Jon Wehrenberg Signature Series Coaches in the world.

This is a rare opportunity for someone.

Wow. I guess if and when I sell this coach I need to put a really high price on it.

Liberty did a great job with that coach. It was rare because it did not have Crestron, but it did have all the Elegant Lady goodies. We had it 8 1/2 years, put about 100,000 miles on it and it was as reliable as an anvil.

    Jon:

After that I think you need your percentage of the dues increased.

Chuck, good idea, but here is how Tom thinks. He knows he is giving me no dues. Nothing. Nil. Zero. Nada.

After your post he conceded and promised to double what he has been paying me.

Jon, if attaching your name to a coach yields that kind of selling power why not buy a few more to flip. Forget the dues . Beat Tom @ his own game!

Beautiful coach. Would love to have it if I were buying it directly from Jon.

The only autograph I intend to make is an endorsement on the back of the check for my half of the dues.

Dick is just trying to get his dues reduced again by blowing at that sunshine your way Jon.

I could go with the Cuban cigar smokin’ and scotch drinking, too. Count me in. OpusX and a GlenLivet 18, 21, or 24 would suit me just fine.

We are done buying or trading buses. Was a member of the TBC (two bus club) twice and do not need to repeat the exercise.

No cigar smoke for me, or near me. And my preference is bourbon. Partial to Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, and have grown to enjoy Larceny.

If you like Woodford Reserve, you will love Woodford Reserve Double Oak! Great Bourbon. Woodford Reserve just any old time and Double Oak when you REALLY want to wind down at the end of the day.

Colt was gracious at ETLC one time when he shared some of that with me. We did a side by side taste test and the difference in smoothness was incredible.

But since I sip my bourbon through a 1/2″ straw I figured I have to stick to the cheap stuff or stop driving the bus.
