Luc your other option would be ramps ,I made mine out of 3/4 in exterior plywood, about 6 in tall, plywood lays flat and staggered to drive on.

I built ramps also, But most of the time I lift the bus with level low system,I bought a couple of 20 ton bottle jacks and I put them under frame,but I screw top of jack as far as it goes and I don’t jack up jack,I use them as jack stands so it can’t drop down and then I can slide under safely. I’m not a Harbor Freight fan but both of my Harbor freight jacks work well 1st one is a air 20 ton bottle jack and 2nd is a low 12 ton bottle jack.

For access under the front I have bought 2 – 2X12X12 boards and had Home Depot cut them to 5′, 4′, 3′. Even with the bags deflated that gives me about 6 extra inches of height and more than enough room to get under safely.

Just nail them together (or screw) and dispose of after use. You can make bigger stronger ones out of wood as well by turning the boards on their side (2x6x12 requires 6 or 7 boards) and bolting the entire assembly together. Cut in half at a 45 degree (or so) and then drive the bus up the new ramp.

The ramps work really good and if I have a lot to do I will put the bus on ramps, I have left it on ramps for a month when I 1st bought it, now for little things jacks.

It seems like ramps are a solid option. And if Home Depot is cutting to size again would save me having to re-buy wood tools. I could store them under the bus to keep them out of the way.

Like those Art. Used these which are two 6 x 6 x 48 inches with 1 1/2 inch board on top. 1 / 2 inch lag bolts. Overall gives me 7 inches of height.
