I think the bus exhaust on a lot of the coaches are custom by the converter.
This is my exhaust:
Some coaches use an exhaust tip that turns down after it comes out of the muffler and they barely extend below the bottom of the coach. My only concern with them is they do not appear to deliver the exhaust outside the perimeter of the bus. That might be an issue when stopped and idling. When moving I doubt if that is an issue.
If I ever ding my exhaust tip I seriously doubt if I will spend the bucks for what that replacement might cost. I think I would go to a truck chrome shop and see what I could get to do the job. I also have a serious issue with ground clearance in the rear so I cannot use a round tip extending out the side or the rear.

Once again I’ll have to pick up the slack for Jon. The 1600 is for the entire show and 3 nights parking.
Al – I believe we are going and have some plastic coach folks we’ll be hooking up. We all go in at the same time in order to park together. We’ll be doing the 30 amp electric sites for 1800.
But, if you and Jon and others want to go, we could do the 50 amp full hookup deal as long as we act pretty quick. Not sure how many of those are available, but I could call on Monday and check it out.

As a full timer for seven months now the learning curve was vertical for me. As a former owner of mutiple single engine aircraft that has no comparison to these machines! We researchd for 2 years before the first time purchase. Even the broker ask ” Are you sure you want to step to the top of the line on your first purchase” ?
Can now say it`s been a handful while working full time, but the forums really educate us and still is a progression as we`ve tried to post on the POG & now here the experiences in hopes of helping others.
Thanks to all you guys for the responses & archives of info as the former builders and companies die off or quit we really need these websites to continue our journey.

Was of coach I am rebuilding now. Was taken by owner at onset of fire. Was caused by poor electrical install by converter(professional). He had purchased 3 from same converter 2 caught fire. Cause of fire as per fire department and visual confirmation by owner. Bob

What conversion year model are you looking at? I have heard the later model Techlink is a little more fussy than say that of the 90’s. We own a 2000 model conversion and I have had no problems with mine. Had to re-boot it one time, but that is it over the past 2.5 years and 42,000 miles.

From left to right my coach is typical rivet model Liberty. Cruise Air evaporator for front AC, TV (old style CRT) behind black plexiglass, cabinet for various video and audio system controls, tank level sensors, and CD player, and extreme RH cabinet over door is shallow for maps, etc.
In our future will be the switch to a flat screen HDTV, but it will be small like our current TV (19″ I think) and will remain fixed and out of sight behind the plexiglass until we turn it on. We do not spend a lot of time viewing TV when we are using the coach so having a bigger screen is not important. I also am avoiding things that add complexity so having a drop down TV is not important to us either, although for those wanting a bigger screen that may be the only option.
I have seen replacements of older TV’s with larger new ones in which the owners surface mounted the flat screen TVs over the cabinet section dedicated to the original TV and I guess I don’t even want to know my TV is there until I turn it on so we won’t be doing that.
