Our generators, run hard under load are 30,000 to 40,000 hour machines, minimum. Get your bus outdoors and load up the electrical system as much as possible, with not only all A/C units working hard, but the Webasto or Aquahot, plus all other heavy loads. Work it hard and long, maybe a day or more.

Jon, i think it goes beyond mileage . There is wear and tear on everything . You are shaking a house for more miles than one that sits still at a campground or resort . Then you are hitting every pot hole in the nation along with maybe adding some salt to the mix . And lets not forget about every bushing there is .
For me a guy who has averaged 35k miles a year the past 6 years , I would much rather have a Garage Queen and work through her issues than a coach with 200k plus on her clock . Then again if you only drive 10k a year why not buy a high mileage coach on the cheap .
Maybe it is just me but if I buy a high mileage coach I want it cheap cause she will need the same money as the garage queen, so why not buy a girl with less miles on her 🙂

We stayed at Venture Out on Cudjoe Key two years ago. My aunt and uncle were the third couple to move in when it was originally developed in the very early 1970’s. While not built for 45′ coaches, we were able to “get in” (IFS helped) and they over looked that we “hung over” on both ends. As I recall its at about MP 22 or 23. Lots of long-term seasonals and what looks like permanents. A good number of “park models”. Everyone seemed cordial and were quick to move their vehicles as we moved in and out of the park. We found lots to do in the area and it was an easy trip into Key West. We would stay there again. 69 acres and I’m thinking 300 sites.
It should be “on the map”. We would stay there again.
If you’re interested in Key Largo, email me direct (my email should be open) and I’ll share an interesting location that isn’t on the map.

It should be a 10 micron filter Aqua Hot uses a Racor or a general filter or a Napa filter, General has no water separator the other 2 do. Aqua Hot uses Webasto burners.

Verify house voltage. Pic of A/B would help…does yours have a key on the left side?

He had me abort and pull the emergency brake well before V1.
He was an FAA check pilot so we got a thorough lesson.

C’mon to oysterfest and join the insanity.
Just make sure you have a lot of fuel. Folks like to hear an 8V92 so you may get requests to start it up.

Thank you guys, and that is exactly what Dick would do is send me out in a lightening storm. He’s always coveted my bus… That’s why around the water fountain we call him Dick of Katmandu”!

You would think so Fred, but there are some that just reap the benefits without contributing to the site, which in turn would produce more business opportunities for them.

I have a Legendary it’s the only coach I’ve owned so I can’t really compare but I could answer some questions.
One issue I would look at very close would be panel delam.

As Jon has mentioned many times, Prevost owners fall into a couple of categories. The handy guys that either enjoy or don’t mind tinkering. And some like myself who pay to have experts who know what they’re doing for regular tasks. I have a northern shop and 3 southern Prevost specialists who I visit regular before most trips so I know everything is working properly.
i am no mechanic and have no interest in being one. I do love traveling and living in our Prevost. And if something happens, it’s safer for me to just call the guy to fix it.
And I’m a pole to pole guy 50 amp to 50 amp. This will be a first time for extended dry camping…and in the cold. Generator was serviced and only has a few hours on it.
I’m not proud of being automotive ignorant but it is what it is. Luckily there’s a great group here that don’t judge but here to help dummies like myself.
