I received the engine oil analysis from the generator today. All is normal with no unusual wear metals or particle count. Yay!

Have you noticed that there are no longer ANY merge signs on the on ramps? Not sure who decided that the States could no longer afford to remind drivers that they DO NOT have the right of way when coming from, what used to be known as, an acceleration ramp.

    Hi Marty and Sue,

We are located in San Francisco, but our bus is kept in Alameda. We are rookies having only owned her for 3 months. Your more then welcome to visit. We sometimes drive up to Thunder Valley Casino for the weekend. I will let you know the next time we head up your way.

On my Featherlite, the second Vanner Equalizer is connected to the 24vdc bus of the coach batteries and provides 12vdc to lights etc inside. Inverters are connected to the 24vdc electrical bus as well

We spend the summer at Tiger Run RV Resort in between Frisco and Breckenridge Colorado. There is a very loose Jeep group that goes out every Tuesday and Thursday. Trails are not too hard, but the scenery is great. There are other harder trails around like Holy Cross, Sidewinder, Chinaman, etc. There are usually hardcore Jeepers looking for someone to join them.

I would suggest FMCA’s Jeep chapter “4-Wheelers”. They have events all over with trails from easy to extremely difficult. There is one event this September in the South Dakota’s Black Hills in Spearfish. The more difficult trails sound like they might be to your liking.

But whatever they used it really helps with the heat and cold, as well as noise.

Dick: I hooked all batts together about 10 years ago except for 1 batt on gen which has an isolator I put in. I’ve had several failures (on 2 coaches) of those blue finned isolators so I got rid of all of them.

OTR runs if it’s over about 80F while I’m traveling. Also runs while stopped if the cruise-airs are inadequate, which is often where I travel. I can usually switch to cruise air if it’s under 95 and sunny or under 100 and dark.
