Harry, why not just ask the owner if his/her coach has a tiny generator hidden behind the bumper and if it is noisy?

What kind of LED setup have you been using to replace your old rope lights. I would like to do the same to our coach.

Some repairs are very difficult to make and in some cases it takes longer to get at something than it takes to repair it. The XL old style dash was very easy to service. But that won’t make later model dashes easy to service.
It’s like some car manufacturers that require the engine to be tilted or rotated a little just so spark plugs could be replaced. What were they thinking????

We are excited to host the seminar and say hello to some of you in person that we haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting.
I’m confident the seminar will be an extremely value experience for all attendees and I also know that it will be a great time … DeLand is a really neat place with a small town feel, plus who doesn’t love Florida in March!?
We are still working to finalize the details, but wanted to let everyone know that Detroit Diesel will be one of the presenters at the rally. They are willing to have a tech on site to plug in to coaches throughout the rally and if needed will perform work on site during the event.
If there is something specific you’d like to see post it here or email Tom, Jon or myself.
It’ll be a great time. Don’t miss it!

Thanks to everyone who replied or called. Just back from the shop. All good. Jeff they did exactly what you suggested. Not sure why they wouldn’t make that part that way to begin with….
My local bus shop saved the day again. Shop Foreman and lead tech came in on their day off to help me out.
Heading to Breckenridge, CO tomorrow afternoon!

My coach has the Vanner AND what I believe is the relay to which you are referring. On mine, relay post of the 50DN energizes the relay which turns off the dash charge light and powers the daytime running lights and my entire road air system. Mine is a standard relay located in the rear junction box. These relays come in 12 and 24 volt versions. Also, make sure your new one is rated for and adequate amp load…there are some cheapies out there.

I do not see relays in the bay. found a box labeled A/c select under the sink in bedroom, getting 110v in and ot of both relays. There is a junction box in the bay I have not removed the cover yet.
