Why anyone messes with Duracell cars is beyond me. They are not working well in cold weather, there is not enough capacity in the grid to power them at the numbers the tree huggers want, and the battery packs are toxic as hell and can not be recycled to my knowledge. Give me good old gasoline any day. I have talked to a few people this winter who are not happy with what they bought and when you ask about range, they just shrug as it changes with the weather. Ford put out a bulletin telling people to not use the heater, just the heated seats and steering wheel to save range. That is not going to work in a Minnesota winter or anywhere else it gets and stays cold for 4 months or more. There was a video on Youtube showing cars that would not even charge in the cold weather.
I can go between 450 and 500 miles on a full tank of gas in my 2021 Lincoln Navigator, can get filled up in about 5 to 7 mins, take a bathroom break, grab a soda or snack and be back on the road in a total time of maybe 15 mins. Then I can drive another 450-500 miles. Can’t do that with batteries and I don’t see that ever happening in my lifetime.
Fossil fuels rule! They are the only reliable energy source we have besides nuclear, which the tree huggers also hate.
And BTW Dick, how do you figure the entire country will be in BIG trouble if the bus 20kw generator can’t charge one of these battery powered cars?

The longer the wheelbase (and wider the track) of the toad, the more likely the toad will cut inside the rear tires. You just have to watch the respective mirror and learn. You could set some cones, chairs, or barrels up in an empty parking lot and experiment.

Jeff Rowe at East Tennessee Luxury Coach told me our 99 Liberty has a stainless steel holding tank and IIRC a SS fresh water tank. Check with Jeff or determine the Liberty build number and call Liberty in Stuart, FL; I think they can tell you want it is from their records.
Jeff has a source to build the stainless steel tanks and IIRC it was south of $5,000 that you mention. I saw a holding tank replacement at ETLC once (can’t remember who did the conversion). I’m thinking that in addition to replacing the holding tank they updated all the plumbing they could get to. Again Jeff can tell you what the cost to switch is if you need to.

Our 96 Liberty 40XL has stainless tanks.

I used an R12T marine water separator and fuel filter. Cartridges widely available. Easy to see/drain clear bowl at the bottom. Purchased mine from Amazon.
BTW, I cut open that plastic filter and was surprised at how little filter material was actually in there and how dirty it appeared to be.

I think those windows might be converter driven? for example, I have have 3 of these square RV style windows on my bus, and mine all have a gold/Bronze tint to them. The large Prevost Windows only come tinted or no tint, material is glass or Plastic.

I vaguely recall one more Prevost/Series 60 owners finding interesting things under the valve covers.

I think you are missing a step. Looks like the 2022 procedure is different than the 2020 that I have. I found this on the internet.

Once you do the “m” thing, you need to go into the menu and select neutral tow. Looks a little more complex, but certainly doable.

I will add that I did a FaceTime yesterday with an owner of a 2000 Liberty – and we spent a lot of time looking at the belt-line for bubbles – and it had none. That was a first for me.

12.1V is no-load now add starter draw can easy drop below 11.5V required for ddec to operate. Voltage at battery level is important in no start situation. Just hopeing for a simple solution…
-
Interesting. I believe the low battery voltage has to do with the ddec internal battery voltage and not the chassis batteries. I wonder if that could be the problem. I hope the smart guys chime in to help. Im obviously not one of them. Good luck.

The recommended tank draining SEQUENCE is apparently new.
NO longer wet, to primary, to secondary, to accessory

Don,
Looking good! A while back I reached out to Gil J. but he wasn’t making the tail lights then. So I will keep the originals, but replace the bulbs.
Like the headlight upgrade, I got a set from Matt as well, but haven’t installed them yet. Was the install easy?
Looks like you also replaced your fog/driving lights, what did you go with there?

I’m using the stock tail light fixtures but I replaced all bulbs with LES’s from Superbrightleds
