cam roller question
Ordered replacement steel roller. Has anyone taken out the pin to replace roller? looks a bit of a challenge.
Also , on another forum, it was suggested to get replacement arm so I bought one as it was suggested to get ceramic roller- Then I saw a comment after ordering that ceramic is no good.
Any help appreciated

Is the cam spalled?

cam is perfect along with all other rollers.
Just wondering if this is because former owner did not drive coach much and first valve- maybe started up dry too many times?
New steel roller should be here today. not sure if I can drill out the small pin that secures roller to arm.

Dick, i think it is more like an MCL surgery. You just need to pull the valve cover.

Not certain, but I believe the pin will press out.
