Hi Mike,
There is an Auxiliary Air tank on our 2003 Liberty XLII Classic. However, it is buried behind the walls of the 2nd Passenger-side Entertainment Center bay (along with the bedroom and Starboard Cruisair units).
Besides being a pain to access…I thought you had to start the Coach in order to run the Aux Air compressor and Fast Idle?
My understanding is that it is extremely hard on the DD60 to cold start and just run it long enough to air up (besides all the diesel it burns).Just looking for a better option that doesn’t require cold starting the engine? (FYI – we end up having to air the front of the Coach up in large part because of the slant of the paver lot at Pelican Lake …dips down significantly, since we can get 68+ inches of rain annually! And secondly, because the PVC waste hose connector needs replaced with a 90 degree piece. The one that was installed by the dealer (during Covid) sticks almost straight down – and, if the bus loses air in the back it would crack/crush the connector and hose).
My thought is that if I get a separate (electric) compressor, it can be plugged into a 110V outlet and do the same job as the Coach’s Aux Air tank – without needing to cold start the engine.
What I don’t know yet is how to get it to operate the correct Norgren valve(s) to air up the front end on both sides?

Thanks for the reply, In my small brain, I’ve drawn a flo map and it looks like the fabric braided line that goes to the upper side of engine in picture then goes to a tee at compressor/fuel pump then stainless braided line from other side of tee goes to another tee at rear of DN50 lubes rear of DN50 then hard copper line from tee to front of DN50, then exits top of DN50 with fabric braided line to rear of gear box, Vent or oil return?? All in pictures Thanks

I couldn’t find replacement lenses for my 02 Marathon H. IBP has an LED conversion, but not cheap. I know Al did his H with IBP LED’s.

For those of you that have removed your 50DN gear driven Alternator, 1) Have they been driven off the Blower drive or one of the accessory drives? 2) Do you have any pictures of what the drive mechanism looks like?

upper left corner.. w-1234 (example) which reads=Year W=98. from that date forward. also includes 41ft coaches etc. there should be a tag on connector that indicates what it is for Example C=connector 152 (example) is what it connects to. red normal is to draw attention to a certain function.. My coach is W-6553…specific to yours it will ask for last letter in your serial number( maybe Z) then last 4 digits
