I’ve owned our bus/mh for 11 yrs. WOW!
I haven’t looked for aux system leaks in almost 10 yrs because the leak rate has been acceptable, until late this yr. So, I gone over most everything, found a lot of small leaks. I also found 2 larger leaks: a) the belt tensioner regulator, b) and the 3 way red handle valve next to the regulator. Now I have the aux system leak rate down to 10-20psi/hr which is acceptable to me.
I haven’t replaced the 2 low level Norgrens in about 10 yrs, so they’re on my list. I did put a ballon on the one with the exhaust port and nothing was leaking.
The 2 Liberty installed Norgren on the floor of the steer bay for their auto leveling system are on my list, Each has an exhaust port I’ll do the ballon trick too 🙂
I’m tempted to do what Jon did/does and add ball valves and pressure gauges everywhere to isolate leaks and/or things.

The Norgren(s) handling the front should stop all air so ride height valves are out of the loop.

Keep in mind however my experience is with Liberty and they modify the Prevost system so what I say may not be worth anything.

The ride height valves should be out of the loop however because with the key off if they are seeing pressure they will try to raise or lower the front end after the bus has been leveled.

    Hello Alex,

Everything shows OK on shore power on both inverters

Inverter bypass switch? I only have (2) inverters emergency switch(as labeled), both are on

I did not check the ac input on the inverters – have to remove stuff/panels

I did shutdown the entire coach for approx 10 min to reset everything…no change in gen AC2 for inv #2

I have 4 group 29 batteries,Not sure how to figure out what size breaker I might need, On old vanner it shows 70amp on 24v side and on ground side, there is a post that shows adding fuses on vanner monitor lower pic

Yes, I don’t need or like it in any motorhome that I’ve owned. After spending a bunch of $ fixing it, I disconnected it at the air source in the steer compartment.

Evaporator & condenser both clean, removed connectors on control board and reinserted.

Unit has been running for 1.5 Hrs without shutting off. So far so good, must have been dirty or loose connections.

P.S. Maybe I shouldn’t post this so quickly, Murphy’s law might bite me right after I post this. LOL

I used a magnet. The bows are steel and the roof skin is aluminum. There are diagrams of the specific bows (and everything else) for each particular bus on the Prevost parts assist web site – which I found useful for planning my approach to putting my roof airs on. As has been noted, proceed slowly due to wires, etc in ceiling. For one roof air I was able to run a bow through the middle of the unit to make the location work. Fishing the power wires and condensate lines – which I tagged into the condensate lines of the cruisairs – is fun. Supplemental roof support should be added and there are various ways to do that – some simpler than others. Drop me a note if you have questions or need more info. Mike

Is it liberty that also requires that the fridge be moved to access filters for the evaporator(s)?

The Jakes sit on top of the valve arms. they are large and incredibly heavy.

made the 36 clearance adjustments and it started right up. Held my breath for a bit!

It was easier to get to the valves, injectors and jakes from the inside for #3,4,5,6

than from the rear. #6 from rear seems very difficult.

The time has come to do a little work to my exhaust system. Exhaust manifolds, pipes, muffler, exhaust manifold gaskets, nuts, clamps etc etc. I have a couple pretty bad exhaust leaks where the manifold bolts to the head which should give me more boost if i can seal everything up correctly. I was going to wait until after the January Bus Rally in Quartzsite, but what the hey, let’s do it now.

I am going to give my 2 cents on this subject for free about towed anything and not being able to stop said vehicle. I don’t care if I get hurt but let my whatever get away and meet your loved one coming the opposite direction and you would certainly want some type of brakes. Whole different ball game then .
