So if they are sealed lead acid and I’m using the charger in AGM mode is that an issue? Charger is supposed to be able to sense if its hooked up to 12 or 24 volts. Voltage when charging is 28-29 on the 24 volt side and 13 -14 volts on the 12 volt legs. Batteries were supposed to be new in July 2020.

If you’ve found your Coach , Just a suitcase full of these and you’re off. Might keep a small satchel for later on down the road for incidentals.

Gauge should be simple. Loosen up the dash, pull it forward, stabilize and block it, be careful, and switch out the gauge … reinstall. I’m guessing.
But before you get excited with the gauge, it should be electric. That means wiring. I’d check the grounds at the gauge and the sensor. I tend to be lazy and take the easy way if it works. I’ve learned from really smart guys that on electrical, check the grounds. Remove old terminals and put on high quality new ones, touch up the contact points with a small piece of emery paper. Look for any chaffing of the wiring; replace as appropriate. Look everything over and use tie-wraps to hold all the wiring together.
The sensor. I suspect that’s in a somewhat hard to get to place.

Do you know the age of the chassis batteries?
At this point I’d unhook them. But first remove all your jewelry and watch, label all the connections, remove them, charge each overnight, take them to NAPA, and have them load tested. Then you’ll know what you have. If one or more have problems, replace all four. Don’t try to save a few nickels by replacing just the bad ones. The others are probably old and will pull down the new ones. Go to the American Independent Truckers Association and sign up for its NAPA discount program. You’ll save money on your batteries.

Prevost will be more expensive, but how quick do you need them? If right away and you will be there, it may be worth it.

Could be risky but quite possible lots of cancellations due to Delta.
A Google search for Balloon Festival shows one a few in NC, MD and Adirondacks, NY…. thinking might be a fun road trip theme.
Dang job gets in the way of fun.

Definitely grateful for the cooling performance of our OTR air (especially crossing Westward to Indio)!
Question: I’ve not seen anyone discuss the feasibility of using a standing tower A/C in lieu of Cruisairs or even rooftop A/C’s?
Would a tower A/C (capable of cooling 400 square feet) be an option when plugged into 50 Amp shore power – perhaps putting the condensation hose down the shower drain?
Not sure whether the unit would need to be vented to draw from outside or, if there is sufficient space within the Coach to essentially recirculate the now cooler air?
Obviously no HVAC expert, but asking as we’re already getting pressure shutdowns of the mid-Starboard Cruisair unit (only one we’ve been running at 76 degrees…just to offset the 107+ degree temps) – even after hosing the entire pad under the Coach several times today.
Be grateful for any feedback, thoughts/recommendations.
FYI – we have emptied and shut off the refrigerator, wine frig and microwave at the central Control Panel switches. And, are doing everything else we can think of the minimize power draws and help cool the Coach (5-coats of rooftop insulating paint, shades closed and awnings out, etc.).
Yes, we know the best solution is to not be in Indio this time of year – but, that wasn’t an option this year.
